Chapter 23- Time Pause

Ying was still shaking in fear. She doesn't seem to know what to do in this situation wherein everyone is fighting for her sake. She felt like a useless person.

Since she can't take it anymore, she closed her eyes. As she did so, she heard a voice. A voice which seemed to sound like hers.

"Ying, it's me, your subconscious. At this rate, you have to use one of your energy-draining powers. The time pause. Then,  you and your friends could run away from here."

With that,  she gently opened her eyes.

She saw that everyone was still fighting. Fang was using his shadow powers,  Halsey was using her telekinetuc powers and Mimi was fighting Gustav's sister. And now...  She has to say the two words.  "Time Pause! "

Everyone had stopped fighting. They were all staying in all of their respective places. Ying struggled to get her hand free which it did.  She ran to all of her friends,  grabbed their arms and led them far away from the headquarters. She had got Boboiboy and Yaya too.  With that,  she sighed from tiredness as time went back again. Her friends began moving as well.

"Eh...  Where are we?" Gopal asked.

"Ying? How did you-" Yaya was supposed to ask but she was being cut off.

"We're now free okay. Now,  we just rest and tomorrow, we're going back to Pulau Rintis and save the world."

Everyone sighed because of the tiring day they had faced. They went to sleep exceot for the two... Fang and Ying.

"So,  what do we do about tomorrow?" Fang asked.

"Well...  We're just gonna give the best that we can." Ying replied as she looked at the sky.

Fang sighed. "At least you are back now.  Did Gustav tried to di anything funny?"

"Nah.  He was actually boring. Much boring than you." Ying replied as she chuckled.

Fang was shocked. "Am I thst boring?"

Ying laughed and went to her sleeping bag. "Just go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow."

Fang nodded.  "Okay...  Fine. "
