Stephanie opened the door to her new studio and Violet didn't waste any time running inside to dance in front of the long mirror in front of her.
"Hey, there." Steph turned around to see Ziggy leaning in the door frame, "Ziggy! I missed you so much."
"Same here, sis." he hugged her back. Ziggy and Steph were like brother and sister when they were growing up. That never changed even though she was gone so long. Ziggy observed the girl on the dance floor,
"Is that her."
"Yes," she beckoned Violet to come and say hello. "This is your uncle Ziggy."
"Please, call me Uncle Zig." he winked at her.
"Hello uncle Zig. I think I met your son."
"Little Ronan?"
"Yes." her face lit up. "he's very nice." she smiled.
"He better be." he joked. "he is a very nice kid." he smiled down at her. Steph and Zig stepped outside the studio, "How are you Ziggy? I heard about-"
"Don't, Steph. I am not hurt, and I am not upset about it. Ronan makes up for all of what that woman has done to me. I'm glad she left."
"I'm sorry Ziggy. It never should've happened to you." Steph said laying a comforting hand on his back.
"No, I'm happy that it happened. If it didn't, I wouldn't have Ronan with me."
Steph smiled at her brother's optimism, "Well, if you need me to help you in any way, Let me know."
"Thanks, I will."
The long day of reunion had finally ended and Steph tucked Violet into bed, "Goodnight Vivi."
"good night mommy."
She kissed her daughter good night and left the room.
Sportacus had been looking through his telescope, observing the town before he went to bed, "Why didn't she tell me that she came back home?" he asked himself. Spo didn't know how to feel about Stephanie coming home without letting him know, he thought he was closer to her than that.
Sportacus, although a little older now still was the same old hero everyone knew and loved. He watched all of the kids in Lazy Town grow up and live their own lives, having their own children. It made him feel as if the town needed him less and less now a days.
Of course he would always have a bond with the old gang of his, but he felt a little useless to them. They were all grown up and their kids didn't play outside as much as Ziggy and the other kids did long ago. He sighed and closed the door to his ship. He laid in bed, closed his eyes and prayed for a miracle.

The next morning, Violet was determined to meet this Sportacus that everyone loved. He looked pretty cool and fun to play with, so she woke up early hoping to spot him. "You're up pretty early Vivi." Steph met her at the bottom of the stairs in grey pajamas and a pink robe, holding a cup of coffee in her hand.
"I was hoping to play outside today."
"Of course hun, just stay where I can see you." she opened the door and Violet darted outside like a bullet into the park to play with the other kids. Stephanie sat happily on the porch and watched her play.
"Hey guys! What are you playing?"
"Frisbee." Amelia said with an attitude.
"Can I play?" she asked a little excited.
"You could...but this Frisbee is MINE."
"Well, sheesh. If you don't want to share then just say so." Violet shrugged and hopped up onto the yellow brick wall. The three kids observed her curiously as she balanced on it as she walked, "What are you doing."
"Making up my own game since you are not kind enough to include me in yours." she said lifting one leg in the air, perfectly balanced on the wall.
"You're weird, Violet." Jackson said.
"I'd rather be weird than mean." she said doing a cartwheel on the wall. Ronan laughed at how witty Violet was. He watched her in fascination. She stood on her hands and walked along the edge of it and then taking away one hand to balance.
"Wow. Violet, you're good at that."
"Thanks." she looked at him smiling. All of the sudden she lost her balance, her arm shook to keep herself up but she fell, expecting to hit the ground, "Are you okay?" she found herself in strong arms and being looked down at by a pair of electric blue eyes, "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you."
Stephanie went to Violet's aid but when she saw that Sportacus was holding her, she almost had a heart attack. "Holy crap." she said it a little too loud and Sportacus looked her way, "Stephanie!" he exclaimed.
"You know my-"
"Hey there Sportacus! How are you?" she cut off her daughter and hugged the guy once he put Violet down, "I could ask you the same question. I seen you move in last night."
"Ah, yes. I had a lot of work to do. Sorry I missed you." She smiled. Sportacus just covered his mouth to keep from giggling at the sight of Steph in her pajamas. She was cute. She looked down and blushed, "Oh dear." she said to herself.
"You know my mommy?" Violet asked Spo.
He looked down at her and then up at Steph, "You have a child?" he asked.
"Yes." she looked as if she were caught in a massive lie. Sportacus' expression turned into a big smile, "Who is the lucky guy?"
Stephanie sighed out a tense breath, "Violet. Why don't you go an play?"
"I want to play with Sportacus."
"Yes. Well, Sportacus and I have some catching up to do. He'll be with you in a moment."
Sportacus looked at her, "Fancy a walk, milady?" he asked her. She smiled and nodded.
"How was New York?"
"It was good. It took a few extra years to get back but here I am."
"I am so happy you are here. I missed you so much, especially after the night you left for school."
Stephanie and Spo were quite the item eight years ago, everyone predicted it and everyone knew how special she was to him. Unfortunately, she had to leave for school and leave Sportacus behind. The last night they were together planted a seed that was now Violet.
"I am sorry about that. I should've asked you to come with me."
"No, no Stephanie. Its okay, I'm not mad at you, I never was. Plus, my job is here. I couldn't have gone to NYC anyways."
A long silence fell over the both of them, "Is it too bold to ask if we pick up where we left off?" he asked her. Stephanie's heart felt like it burst into confetti, she had to breathe a moment. She wasn't ready for this, it wasn't how she pictured it.
"Sportacus, there is something you should-"
Sportacus' crystal flashed and he looked at her, "I have to go."
"Of course you do." she smiled. He zipped away and Stephanie kicked the dusty dirt of the road in frustration, "This is going to be harder than I thought."
She walked back to the porch to watch Violet play with the kids and eventually Sportacus joined in the games totally forgetting about the conversation that they both had. So, she sat there sipping her coffee and reading Edgar Allen Poe until the sun went down. Violet didn't want to go inside, she had so much fun with her father. She was exhausted but she refused to admit that she was sleepy. "Come on you little ball of energy. You have class in the morning." Stephanie said carrying her to her bedroom with Spo following behind. She laid her in bed and covered her up, "Sweet dreams Vivi."
"Night mommy. Night Sportacus."
Violet's words warmed his heart in a way he couldn't explain, "Good night Violet. It was so nice to meet you."
They closed the door behind them and descended the stairs, "I'm sorry that I got distracted today. You sounded like you were going to tell me something important." he said sitting with her on the couch in the living room.
Stephanie nodded.
"What was it? It looked like it was troubling you."
"Oh!" she uttered in frustration. "Stop it Spo."
"What did I do?" he chuckled.
"Its so stressful, Sportacus. I wish there was an easier way but every time I try, it gets harder."
"I know, I know. Its hard being a single parent. My mother was one after my father died." he confessed.
Stephanie looked at him in a mix of surprise and nervousness. Was he seriously thinking that she was talking about being a single parent? This stressed her out even more seeing that it didn't register in his mind yet that Violet was his daughter. It was there, staring at him in the face! The same icy depths of blue eyes, the same brown hair and energy that could light up the city of Paris! The same pale skin like alabaster, the same nose, the same attitude. Pink and Blue make purple, Sportcaus...when was he going to see it?
"I'm sorry Sportacus."
"Its okay. My mother was a saint, she was a wonderful mom."
"I wish I could've met her..."
"She would've loved you." he said quite solemnly. Then he looked at Steph with compassionate eyes, "Just let me know when you need my help, Stephanie. I'm always here." Stephanie hugged him, not caring about the amount of time that separated them, "Thank you, Spo. That means so much to me."
"I'm happy that it does." he kissed her cheek. "I'm going to get to bed now. Do you need me for anything else. To stay?" he asked.
"No, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay." he said quietly as he left the house.
She watched him as he climbed back up in his ship. She cried in frustration, it would be so much easier if he would just see it, "Oh, stop it Stephanie. You never had it easy. Why would this be any different?"
