Sportacus looked over to see Stephanie's expression on her face. Is he was at peace as if she had been unravelled of stress and frustrations of the day. He loved seeing her like this, she radiated beauty in a sense of calmness that he couldn't explain. Violet glanced up at the two, wondering why they were so quiet. She witnessed the smile he had on his face and vivi tried so hard to contain her excitement. He liked her, a lot! Violet beamed and tried focusing back on the movie.
"Singing fish?" Soo asked as he saw the fish pop out of the water and sing in harmony. "Fish don't sing." He said hoping to get a rise out of violet. She looked up at Sportacus,"these fish do."
"And are those teddy bears?" He asked making her giggle in response.
"No! They're Barbaloot Bears."
"Barba--wha??"
"Barbaloot."
"Barbatoot?" He joked. The look on violets face was priceless to him. Her eyes widened as if she were going to laugh but she retaliated again.
"Loot."
"Boot."
"Loot."
"Snoot."
Violet face palmed and let out a sigh. Sportacus started to laugh,"haha I'm kidding you Vivi, Barbaloot."
Violet only laughed and sat back where she was until Stephanie piped up, "you know...the Onceler looks like the Wizard of Oz in that green suit. Violet again groaned as they started teasing her back and forth.
"Yeah now that you mention it he does."
"No he doesn't." Violet replied.
"Sure he does. He's got the top hat and everything." He teased back.
"And he gets the mustache at the end of the movie. I mean talk about identical." Steph chimed in.
"Oh yeah." Violet was smiling from ear to ear. "Well you look like a big fluff ball of cotton candy mom." She said joining in the banter.
Stephanie pretended to look insulted and Sportacus started to laugh. Violet looked over at him and half scowled, he leaned over and scowled back at her, "what are you laughing at? You overgrown blueberry."
"Now that's an entirely different movie." He said sounding offended. Violet looked confused. "What? You never seen Charlie and the chocolate factory? The over grown blueberrys name is Violet." He winked. Violet huffed and lunged at him playfully.
"Aha! It's got me!" He says dramatically falling tot the floor with her.
"I am no match for violet...the blueberry!"
"Hey! Stop calling me that." She said throwing light punches to his chest. Stephanie just sat there watching them bond and laughed when spo had finally "died" upon the floor.
"Sportacus wake up." Vivi said poking him. He didn't budge. Violet looked at her mom, "help me."
Stephanie came down and gave him a good jab in the side and he jumped up and chuckled,"ah! Ok ok you win I won't call you that anymore."
"Good." Violet got up and continued to watch the movie.
Sportacus stood and looked at the clock, "it's bed time for me."
" no don't go. Please?" She looked up at her father with the same icy blue eyes. Spo couldn't help but smile and sit back down with the two. They were his family after all.
