Sportacus couldn't resist the urge to hug her when she asked that question.
"That is the best response from a kid I have ever gotten."
Violet hugged him back and wondered why he was so touched by her response. Stephanie and Zig looked on as Stingy kept talking to them until he realized they weren't listening.
"What is going on?" he looked over at Violet and Sportacus and smiled, "So you finally told him."
"Yeah I did." she said smiling at the two of them getting along. "Do you want to meet her?" she asked.
"Of course I want to meet a Sportacus and Stephanie hybrid." he joked making Steph giggle.
"Violet!"
She looked over at her mom calling her name and rolled her eyes, "I swear, I have been pulled every which way for the past two days. I'm completely exhausted."
Spo smiled, "On your feet all day huh?"
Violet nodded and without warning, Sportacus hoisted her up on his shoulder, making her squeak in surprise and carried her over to her mother.
"Violet, what on earth?"
"Violet's feet hurt mommy." Spo teased with a wink.
"Meet your uncle Stingy."
Violet stuck out her hand and Stingy shook it, "Pleasure to meet you, Violet."
"Pleasure is all mine." she smiled.
"Have you met uncle Pixel yet?"
"How many uncles do I have?"
"You have one more to meet is all my love." Stephanie interjected.
"Okay. All this family to meet is making me dizzy."
"Yes I know, meeting new people is always stressful. No worries hun, Pixel will not be here until this weekend. He has a daughter about your age."
"Really?" Violet's face lit up.
"Yep, her name is Athena." Spo replied.
"Wow. I'm going to be friends with the Goddess of Wisdom." Violet said.
"Okay smarty pants." Stephanie said with a laugh. "Help me close up shop."
Spo set her down and she looked up at him with a bright face, "Thanks for the lift Sportacus."
"Anytime Vivi."
Violet set off to straighten up with her mom, "Wait. We weren't taught anything." Amelia griped.
Violet set her hands on her hips, "You want to learn something?"
"Yeah, that's your job isn't it?"
"Okay. Lesson one, get to my classes on time and you will learn how to dance." Violet smiled. Amelia just scowled and left with her brother and dad.

Ronan and Violet had some time to play in the park. Amelia and Jackson decided to leave them alone and keep to themselves. Ronan and Violet sat on the swings and observed the both of them.
"Why are they so mean?"
Ronan shrugged, "They were born that way." he joked making her laugh.
"Seriously. They have been mean to me ever since I moved here." Ronan replied.
"You havent lived here all your life?" Violet asked.
Ronan shook his head making his blonde locks dance in the sunset.
"Where did you live?"
"Buffalo New York."
"I lived in New York City!"
"Cool. We were neighbors and didn't even know."
"So, what made you move back?"
"My mom left us..." Ronan hung his head.
"I'm sorry, Ronan. I shouldn't have-"
"Its okay Violet you didn't know."
"I don't have a dad. Don't feel bad."
Ronan smiled at Violet, "You are going to have a good dad someday."
"And you will have the best mom in the world."
Ronan had the urge to cry but he swallowed it back and instead he smiled, "I bet you can't swing as high as me."
"Oh really?" she started pumping her legs to try to match his height, laughing the whole time."
Stephanie sat with Ziggy on the porch watching the two play as the sun started to set, "I have a feeling that those two will be inseparable." Zig said sipping his iced tea.
"What makes you say that, oh brother of mine?" she teased.
"Because we were like that the moment you moved into town, remember?"
"That's right. You instantly became my shadow."
"Mhm. Your partner in crime."
"Two peas in a pod."
"Best friends forever?" Spo interrupted the word game, laying a hand on her shoulder.
"Well hello my dear, how are you?" she said looking up at Spo's beaming face.
"I am well, my pink rose." he kissed her and Ziggy just rolled his eyes, "That is my cue to leave."
"Oh, stop it Ziggy. Stay." Steph replied.
"Will you two behave?" he asked.
The two lovers looked at each other and Ziggy laughed, "haha nope."
"Oh please stay?"
"I have an early morning anyway sis. Have fun you two."
"Night, see you tomorrow."
"Night." Zig left to get Ronan off to bed.
"Violet should be getting to bed too..."
Sportacus chuckled, "Why?"
"She has class tomorrow and-"
"Can we squeeze in one more festivity before we nod off?" he asked.
"What did you have in mind?"
"You'll see." Sportacus started running into the park and Stephanie followed slowly.
"Hey Violet!" he jumped in front of her swing, startling her a bit. "Hey Spo." she giggled at his enthusiasm. "What has gotten you so hyper?"
"I just wanted to see if you wanted to play hide and seek before your mom brings you inside for bed."
Violet nodded eagerly.
"Sportacus? Violet?" Steph called after them.
"Hurry, hide." Spo said and she jumped off her swing and dipped behind a tree.
Steph made it to the park and crossed her arms, "Come on Spo. Im not playing this game."
She could hear Spo from behind the brick wall, "Guys, I'm tired."
She inched her way to the wall and pulled off his hat, "Found you."
He went to take his hat but she pinched his ribs and he giggled. She pressed a finger to his lips, "Help me get Vivi."
Both of them crept around both sides of the tree, "Boo!" they both said in unison, making Violet scream.
"Don't do that!" she said trying not to laugh.
"Okay, my purple princess. Time for bed."
Violet shook her head and plopped down on the soft green grass, "The stars are out." she pointed to the half darkened sky. Sportacus plopped down beside her and Stephanie was outnumbered once again, "I cant win today." she laid down on the other side of her daughter and looked up.
"You like the stars, Violet?"
"I love the stars. They are so bright and pretty."
"And she swears that she witnessed a Supernova." Steph blurted with a little laugh. Violet rolled her eyes and poked her mom in the side, "Will you ever let that go? Besides...I have."
"What is a Supernova?" Spo asked.
"When a star dies, it explodes and the gasses and chemicals from it form a new galaxy."
"That is amazing Vivi."
"Every star gets a new life."
Violet continued to point out the constellations and how they all looked like jewels shining in the indigo sky. She eventually talked herself to sleep, cuddling up against Spo's shoulder, "Aww." He couldn't help stroking his daughter's hair.
"It seems almost impossible to believe we have created such a lovely thing."
Steph propped herself up to see Vivi using Spo's shoulder for a pillow, "She is the joy of my life. I'm so glad she has taken such a shine to you."
"I think she may know in some sense...or bond."
"Of course she does. You're her dad. When she saw you for the first time, all she wanted to do was meet you."
"Yep, she must know." he chuckled quietly.
Violet shifted a little and nodded off back to sleep, "We should get her to bed."
"I think so too." Spo scooped her up in his arms and made their way back to the house. He laid her in bed and covered her up, "Good night Vivi." He closed the door to see Stephanie wiping away a bit of tears, he smiled knowingly.
"Shut up Spo."
"What? Its cute when you have your sobby mommy moments."
"I cant help it." she said finishing up drying her face with her sleeve.
"Who says that you have to?" He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her tenderly. She hugged his neck returning each kiss he gave.
"Its like you never left..." his voice tickled her ear.
She pulled off his cap and ran her fingers through his blonde curls. He kissed her neck and she squealed, "Spo!" She whispered. "You know that drives me-"
"Crazy? Yes I know."
His cuff suddenly alerted him that it was almost bedtime, "I wish I could stay..."
"Then why don't you?"
"You mean you'd let me stay?"
"Of course. You are my child's father, you don't have to ask to stay. You are welcome any time, plus eight years away from these lips and you don't think I miss you? Stay."
"What about Violet?"
"You're going to wake up earlier than she will anyway." she opened her door to her bedroom and they both snuck quietly inside.
