Chapter 17

Alex POV:

I had a feeling that something strange and really bad had happened to Rose.

I was going to explain the dreams I had to Rosemary but--

Liam cuts off my thought and begins to talk about a book.

"OK, so you know all those weird things that's been happening to you?, well turns out that a spirit is after all of us." He says.

I don't say anything and just listen to what he had to say next.

He keeps flipping the pages of the book and he stumbles upon writings that looked like a poem but they were in another language.

None of us knew what they meant but they all looked familiar to me--

wait.

I remember these writings , I saw it in my dream. Its all coming back to me.

I tell Liam and I tell him what it means.

It says:

Read this

Is destined to danger.

"Does this means that our lives are at stake?" I ask.

"possibly" Liam replies.

"I'll go" I say

"go where?"

"I'll go save Rosemary, she can't wake up because she stuck in her dream, so I'll get her out."

" But how, isn't that impossible?"

I shake my and quickly shove Liam out of the way and try to find a spell in the book.

I find it and it says:

The one that seeks shall find

close your eyes

Relax.

imagine where you want to reach.

Reach.

I go to a corner and sit down and slowly say reach- imagine reac-

"wait, take the book with you" Liam says.

wait.

wait--

Its dark and I see nothing but two green eyes staring right at me.

The creature says:

(*)Look what you did to me mom, why, I'm going to kill you.

(*)It sounded like a little girl's voice and then it started to get deeper and wounded nearly demonic.

I slowly raise my hand and legs thinking that I'd had the chance to run but "it" grabs me by the neck and I can barely breathe and I drop the book.

My eyes slowly shut and my neck tightens even more.

I wake up and I'm in another room.

"where am I?"
