"Mama!!! Ahhh!" Madison runs into the restaurant Chris & I suggested for dinner. Lots of elegant people were here and sure were different compared to us.
"Don't run!!! Come back silly!" I follow her as she giggles under a table and I play hide-n-go-seek with her.
"I lost my Maddy! Oh no! Daddy!!!" I smile at Chris and he does the same with me.
"Well...we'll have to buy a new Maddy! Mommy and Daddy are going bye-bye now!" Chris teases and I playfully punch his arm. She's been learning a lot of words with Chris and I, so she might understand and get upset. Nobody could replace his twin!
"Nooo! Dada!!!" Maddy pouts and pops out from under the table, prancing to his legs and hugging them.
"Awww Daddy just playin' with you....I'm sorry." Chris picks her up, kissing the pouty face Madison multiple times to stop her whining, and we search for an open table.
Chris finally got his tattoo of Madison early this morning and he's plans to wear shirts that'll make it visible to others to see. The tattoo artist did an outstanding job and is truly talented to put a real picture of our daughter onto his back perfectly! We've been out all day ever since that.
"Maddy, what do you want to eat?" I ask and show her the menu of the kid's stuff, waiting for her to point to a dish that she'll eat.
"My back is a little sore still...fuck...." Chris groans and stretches out his muscles.
"Aww, I'm sorry. How can I help you out daddy?" I would rub his back to comfort him, but that'd probably make it worse.
"Nah, thanks though baby. It'll feel a lot better later tonight hopefully. I gotta use the bathroom, then make sure it's not too red yanno...I'll be right back. You can order the same thing you get for me too." Chris kisses my cheek, handing me Madison and rushes to the restroom.
"Hmm. Does the tater tots sound good with chicken Maddy? I'll have to cut it up for you..." I point to the pictures on the menu and Madison nods, sipping from her sippy cup. It was a calm daughter & mother moment for a second until-
