What do you see in the mirror?
I see simply a reflection of someone I used to know,
someone who is long gone.
I see you physically; but you're dead inside.
So when you ask me, what do you see in the mirror?
I will tell you.
Because time goes on, doesn't wait for you, doesn't stop.
What do you see in the mirror?
I see you. That's who I see.
But not a you I know,
The you I thought I knew.
The you who was full of laughter,
Full of smiles,
Full of heart.
What happened to that you?
Did it die?
Did it just give up on life?
Was it my fault?
Was I not a good friend?
I wish I could help you.
Is it too late?
No,
It's never too late.
Or is it?
As long as you're here, physically at least, I will help you.
I will make you laugh,
Make you smile,
Make you live.
Because you are not simply a reflection,
A reflection in a mirror.
