Chapter 2: Friendship?

Before the encounter.

Todoroki's Point of view.

Sensei, Aizawa, he seems to be a strict teacher but, I guess he has a reason on why we're doing a test on the first day of school. Still, I don't understand why he is doing it. I could have done a lot better there was a distraction in my mind, that girl. Her eyes shined blue and for that reason, I wanted to see them again. I shook my head and tried to listen to what was happening.

"Todoroki-kun!" A girl with black hair was trying to get my attention.

"Huh?"

"Todoroki! What's the matter you never space out."

"Oh! Sorry, Momo. It's just that something has been on my mind."

"Is it the thing of which you can't find your soulmate?"

"No, I don't think so."

"Mmmmmmm." Momo got close and started to smirk at me. "Is it over a girl!?!"

"Momo." Rolling my eyes to her, I never really show this side of me because I never need to. When I found out that Momo was supposed to be my 'soulmate' I thought it would be nice. Yet when I found out that she wasn't, I was devastated. It was just part of my father's plan to get me married as soon as possible or the real reason why he wanted me to get married, Money and fame. When we both found out, we both became really good friends, she even told that she wasn't even interested in me, mainly because she likes girls better than guys. I don't blame her, she's been through bad situations.

"What?!" She threw her hands in the air. "I want you to be happy! I never see you smile, nor laugh. I'm pretty lucky if I make you smile, but I want you to find your soulmate."

"You know that isn't possible."

"Look, I don't believe in technology and neither you. Don't let it make you think that you can't have one! You might have to find those people who can see if you have a soulmate."

"Momo, you know that there's no more of them! They have been killed off or they are hiding the fact that they are connectors." I said.

"Hmm. I have a feeling that they are still alive." she started to smile at me.

"Yeah, right.." I rolled my eyes.

Momo and I had to stop talking once Aizawa called me out to finish my exam. Once I did I got bored and thought to roam around. While roaming around I saw the same girl from the morning. I guess curiosity killed my cat because I want to investigate. While heading there I could sense the ground shaking. 'The hell?' I thought. That's when I saw her jumping into the air like a bird. The more attention on someone you can see more things you don't realize, she's beautiful, yet I shouldn't let my emotions control what I should do or that's what my father at least taught me. I never really got along with my father.

After the meet.

"Heh, since you are already using your quirk why not use Mine!" She barely was able to dodge my attack. 'Well... I guess I overdid it.'

"Getting cocky?" She moved her body far off from my first attack.

"Could be the situation." I just shrugged.

"Well, no time to waste. Let me show you what I'm capable of doing," She said with confidence.

Y/N point of view.

Getting cocky Todoroki? I'm not letting him get away with that easily. I'm not that easy to mess with. As soon as Todoroki shoot me his ice towards me I used the new move I just recently learn, jumping in the air. My eyes shine blue and all the water that I could sense came towards me.
