Chapter 26

Y/n's Point of view

After I ended my call with Momo I went to put on my hero clothes, that same feeling from my nightmare kept haunting me. I need to do something, I need to protect Shouto. The only way for me to do that if I go to the scene. I open the door and noticed that my hand was shaking, I ignored it and head out.

While running some of my fireflies appear and lead me towards Momo. It felt nice running for once, It made it better when the fireflies were surrounding me, it made me feel safe. I don't run all the time but, since I been 'trap' in the house it was nice. Once I reached the park Momo was sitting on top of a playhouse, well the parks little hut. I smiled and called for her.

"Rapunzel, let down your hair!" I said smiling.

"Oh! Is that what you want?! Okay then!" She created a ladder so I could get next to her. When I reached the top we embraced like never before.

"It feels great to be with you again," she smiled.

"Pffttt hell nah! It feels amazing to be with you!" I laughed.

"It's nice that we are reunited but we have to get serious."

I nodded, "Yeah, What's the plan?" Her expression changed immediately, we both knew that we are risking our lives for the people we cared.

"I talked with Midoriya, and we need you, for the plan to be exact..." she said poking both of her index fingers together.

"Me? Why is that exactly?" I said with curiosity.

"We need to use you as bait..."

"What?! Why?!" I said all shaken up. I wasn't just let them take me and use me?! That's not what a hero is suppose to do!

"Midoriya knew that you wouldn't agree to be so defenseless so he thought of a way you can fight! All you need to do is use your water quirk!"

I looked down at my lap, "I...." I forgot to let her know that I'm pregnant and my situation.

"You what? Y/n, do you need to tell me something?" She smiled at me and placed her hand on my left shoulder. She was worried about me.

"I can't use my quirk for long.," I said disappointedly.

"Why can't you use your quirk for long?" Momo smirked at me, almost knowing what I was talking about.

"I'm pregnant Momo, with Shoto's child." I smiled widely just thinking that I'm pregnant.

"OMG, you're pregnant! YESSS! I knew it!" She screamed with joy. She gave me a big hug, swaying our bodies with happiness.

I laughed at Momo's reaction, "I'm going to be an aunt! Yes! I'm happy for you! Does Shoto know?"

"No, I want to tell him. Knowing him and all the danger I'm putting myself in he will insist on making me go home so I can be safe with the child. I don't want that."

"I get why he would say that," she let out a sigh, "I'm not sure how, but Midoriya told me that the League of Villians knows about your quirk, someone snitched about you. Now... they want you... if not they will try to kidnap you or what Midoriya said, try and kill you."

Just hearing death appear, sicken me. My stomach wanted to throw up. I looked at Momo and shooked my head. "No, There's no way! I can't allow that to happen!!"

"Well," She held my hands, "Let's make this fight count, this might be a fight that will determine our future. Our odd future."

She made me smile, giving me the energy to fight. To fight for my child's future. I stood and offered my hand to her. "If we're going to give this our all, then, let's go!"
