Chapter 18: Shoto's Birthday (Part 3, Final)

Y/n Point of view,
January 11, 7 am

I was awake before anyone else, I was so excited for this day! I got up from my bed and put on my uniform. Once I put on my uniform I grab the balloons and ribbons, I went to Momo's room and knocked on her door. I couldn't contain my excitement, I was moving and jumping everywhere.

Momo opens the door and saw that she was still in her PJs. I glared at her, she just shrugged at me. I whined at Momo and told her why wasn't she ready. "Y/n, I'm just tried ok."

"Come on! Get ready!" I pushed her towards her bed and quickly pulled out her uniform. I set it next to her and made sure she was getting ready for school. I ran to my room and carefully placed the gift and letter in my bag. I closed the bag and headed to go eat breakfast.

Me being eager as ever, I ate my cereal as fast as I could and headed towards the door waiting for Momo. I hugged my bag and smiled, I hope he likes my gift. I heard Momo's footstep which got me excited. I started to jump once more. "Momo!! Hurry!!"

Momo rolled her eyes while headed towards the door. She wasn't wearing her uniform. "Look I know you are excited, but didn't you hear the news?"

"What?!"

"Yeah! Take a look!" She shoved her phone in my face. I grab the phone and looked at the news. I didn't read most of the news, but I saw something that stood out.

School Canceled because of snow.

U.A high
Ketsubutsu Academy
Isamu Academy

There were more schools but that's what I saw. I gave the phone back and looked down. I felt Momo's hand on my shoulders. I looked up at her and gave her a weak smiled. "Hey! Just go to Shoto to give him your gift. I bet he will happy to see you."

"But," I looked to one of the windows and saw the piles of snow outside. "There's a lot of snow."

"That ain't stopping you." She smiled at me.

I smiled and nodded. I went out and tried to search for any snow that was melted, luckily I sense some at the bottom of the snow. I waved goodbye to Momo and head out. I step out and immediately turn into water. It was cold, but it wasn't that bad.

I made my way to Shoto's house and got back to my normal state. I took a deep breath and knocked. There wasn't a reply. I looked around feeling my toes getting cold. I knocked once more. No reply. I used my quirk to see if Shoto was around the area but nothing. I was getting worried. I grab my phone and called Shoto.

It kept ringing, "Hello, this is Todoroki, Shouto. Sorry, I didn't answer, I could be busy or just not wanting to be on my phone. Leave a message after the beep."

Beep.

"Ugh." I ended the call defeated that I wasn't able to go see him. Right as I was going to leave. Someone yanked me inside. 

Todoroki's Point of view. January 7, 10 am

Waving goodbye to my girlfriend ached my heart hurt, I didn't want to leave her. I closed the door and went to the kitchen. I saw mom cleaning some of the dishes. I gave her a hug and sighed.

"So are you sure of this?" She asked. 

"I'm sure of this I just need to wait until we are 18."

Mom moved her body and rose her eyebrow. "18? Why 18."

"I want to live a hero life with her. I know I want to be with her for the rest of my life. She is the reason I changed and accepted the fact that I need to use my fireside if I want to become a hero."
