•Chapter 31• Live like it's your last day

Y/n Point of view.

Running as fast as I could towards his room I used my quirk to get closer to him. With the explosion impacting the building, some of the water was exposed that it helped me get to his room faster. I let my body travel around and made sure that everyone was okay.

Once I reached his room I burst in there. He was there safe. I was panting but I didn't care. I ran up his motionless body and hugged it. I felt more life from him. He was getting better! I was about to move him when the windows of Shouto's room broke.

I quickly made a water barrier to protect Shouto and me. I was able to projectile the glass from Shouto but not enough for me. I got a little scrape on my left arm. I looked around to see who the hell is trying to. "I know you're out there! Come out!" I yelled towards the broken window.

The person listen to me and flew in. His wings were huge and beautiful. I knew exactly who it was when I saw one of his feathers scrape my right cheek. "What are you trying to accomplish?!" I yelled at Hawks.

He tilted his head and smile, "It's a favor... for my little friend, the one you fought with. Potentially wanted to kill him." He was smirking with so much excitement.

"When did you become a villain? Why?! And why do you want to kill Shouto!" I yelled with anger.

"For revenge, that's why I'm here and honestly, I don't care at this point if I am a hero." Hawks eyes were full of rage, "I want to kill Todoroki for ruining Dabi's life!"

"What?! He did nothing to Dabi! All he did is being his little brother! He didn-"

"You're wrong," his lips managed to stop mine. "He got love from his parents, but when Shouto was born and showed some potential of having the ice and hot quirk, he lost all of it, that he had to leave," he said coldly that it brought shivers down my spine.

"That wasn't Shouto's fault! It was his parents' actions! They were the cause of why they treated him that way!" I yelled back.

"I don't care what you have to say to me, nor I want to listen to them. He's the reason why Dab's mother had to go to the hospital. All I want is revenge. That's why!" All of the sudden the room was surrounded by ice, bring my water to freeze. "I'm here to kill him with his own Quirk!!!"

'Shit.' I let my water warm up as I grabbed his body. How did he manage to get his quirk! I quickly got him on top of me and ran. I had my water to protect the ice that was come towards me. "You're not getting away from me!" Hawks yelled as he shot some icicles towards me. Luckily I was able to dodge them yet I didn't have enough luck. I felt an icicle hit my left ankle. Dropping Shoto and I on the ground.

Screaming in pain I look over Shouto who seemed to be ok. I look over to my foot only to notice that some of the icicle went through my leg, right above my ankle. I slowly rip off the icicle from my leg and turn it into water. I tried to get up while I freeze my water to deflect the icicles. I went to Shouto to see if there are any wounds to heal them. I didn't care about my ankle if it was bleeding, I need to get Shouto out of here.

I quickly picked him up and slowly made my way to the exit. With little of my energy, I made my feet slip and slide through the hall. Hawks got in front of me, with his wings blocking the exit. "Get out of my way!!!" I yelled with anger.

"Not until I finish my job!" Hawks wings pulled me away from Shouto and throw me towards the wall as well as freezing me, Shouto was left defenseless. "ugH! No! LEAVE HIM!" Hawks didn't listen to me, all I saw was him strangling Shouto in front of my eyes. Activating Shouto's quirk to kill him faster.

"NO!" I screamed as loud as I could as I close my eyes in fear. Once I open my eyes I was no longer in the hospital, just surrounded by white light, an infinite looking place. Blue, red and white particles appeared including Shouto who was in front of me once more. "Shouto!" I ran towards him to give him a hug.

"Y/n.." his voice relaxed my stiff body as he gave me a sweet kiss on my forehead. "Give me the energy to help you in this battle, I know you have to be careful because of our child." My eyes widen to hear that from him. "So, " He holds my hands as our body illuminate the white area with red, "Let's beat his ass." Shouto smiled.

I smiled and nodded, "Let's beat his ass." He cupped my cheeks and gave me a sweet kiss before I was sent back to the hospital. As fast as my body could get out of the ice, I let my water surround hawks body, causing him to drop Shouto's motionless body. "I told you to let him go!"

That didn't phase him. He froze the water, breaking it once more looking at me with rage. "It seems like I will have to kill you before Todoroki," He froze my legs to the ground pining me once more to the wall. "But I have to admit," he got close to my neck, "You're cute enough to eat before I do kill you." breathing close to my ear.

"Tch, I will never let you touch my body, Ever." I hit him in the balls with my dominant hand. Surprised that I hit him there that I left a small chuckle. He quickly pinned me to the wall having my waist down frozen. I felt cold and having trouble breathing.

"That wasn't nice of you...." He rose his left hand to activate Shouto's fire, "It's time for yo-"

Just as I saw flames come up behind Hawks, I turn my body into water and moved far away from Hawks. Once I was out of the way I saw Shouto behind Hawks, using his quirk. My eyes widen as I smiled brightly. 'Shouto!'

"Leave her alone!" Shouto activates both of his quirks rapidly, leaving the hall covered in ice while the fire was burning its surroundings. Hawks blocked his fire with the ice. "How are you alive! How do you even have your quirk!" Hawks replied screaming with ice constantly getting close to Shouto. With the power of Hawks wings, it blew Shouto close to me.

I looked around to see what I could do. I'm not able to move rapidly from my injury and being careful to not overusing my quirk. I got close to Shouto who was laying on the ground.

I quickly grabbed his hand and hold it close to my heart. He gave me a small chuckle at me. Our bodies were once more happy to be together and when we're together, no one can stop us. With having more energy and getting healed we both work together to beat Hawks.

Light illuminated from our bodies as we kept holding hands and working in sync to make a powerful attack. Screaming and pointing our bodies to Hawks, water, ice, fire, and air combined together, protecting us from any attacks. And just like that, a big explosion was caused by our attack.

I open my eyes as I fell on my knees, I felt so tired that I collapse in front of the damaged we created. "S-sho-"

Shouto's Point of View.

I didn't know where I was until I heard someone fall on the ground. To my right was Y/n and in front of me was Hawks. What exactly happen? I fell on my knees and carefully picked up Y/n body. I felt stronger for some odd reason.

Y/n's body glow as I saw the wounds around her body. He wounds were soon healing itself. Was I healing her?

I continue walking, but I wasn't doing it. I tried to give a kiss to Y/n yet my body didn't let me. I was being controlled against my own will.

Against my own will, I walked out of the hallway that got destroyed. I couldn't speak, nor try to make sure Y/n was fine. I kept walking until a nurse came running towards us.

"Are you guys alright!" She said worriedly. She quickly examed Y/n

"I'm fine, Please! Make sure she is alright!" I was able to speak. Yet that still wasn't me. What the hell is going on with my body?

"Yes! Come! Ever since the explosion, we have been moving the patients to a secret place in the hospital. Only nurses are allowed to access the room. Please hurry!"

I nodded and followed the young lady, 'Please be alright,'
