[Aurora's POV]
I wove flowers into a flower crown, impatient for Maleficent and Diaval to awaken so I could question them. Scenarios ran through my head, but none of them made much sense. Finally I saw the familiar figures coming towards me. "Maleficent! Diaval!" I called, bounding towards them. "Beastie." Maleficent smiled. "Hello, princess." Diaval greeted me. Maleficent led us to a big tree on a cliff. "Sit down." She beckoned. I obliged. "Did she..." Diaval trailed off. I nodded. Maleficent cocked her head and gazed out into the horizon. "Aurora..." She began. Diaval pulled her closer to him. "Is this what you wish?" She asked. "That depends. Is it what you wish?" I countered. A sweet smile crept over Maleficent and Diaval's faces, and they gazed at each other, smiling happily. I took that to be a yes. "Then yes, that is what I wish." I replied. "We can be a family." Diaval smiled. A family.
