Chapter 5

Three Months Later

[Diaval's POV]

Maleficent leaned back against a tree and exhaled, her hands placed on her rather large stomach. I walked over and sat down next to her. "Baby is getting big." I smiled. "Did you just call me fat?" She snapped. Aurora laughed. "Well?" She pressed. More laughter from Aurora. "Did you?!" She smirked. Aurora was laughing hysterically and fell off the rock she was sitting on. "Aurora, modesty!" Malefient warned. "Yes, yes!" Aurora said, sitting back up. "I was not insulting you, Maleficent, my love, I was merely observing the growth of our child." I insisted. "I know." She laughed, kissing me on the check.

Later That Same Day

[Maleficent's POV]

Amazing! I had felt the baby kick! "Diaval!" I yelled. "What, my dear? Is something wrong?" He asked worriedly, running into the room. "No, nothing is wrong." I assured him. "Oh, good." He said, exhaling with relief. "Then why did you call for me?" He asked. "Feel this." I smiled, placing his hand on my stomach. A surprised smile spread across his face. "Wow! That is incredible!" He exclaimed. Aurora came in. "What is incredible?" She asked. "Aurora, come here, feel this." Maleficent told her. Maleficent placed Aurora's hand on her stomach. "Positively remarkable!" She smiled. "I love our little family." Diaval said. "Yes, I agree." I replied. "Maleficent, Diaval, Aurora, and baby." I breathed. "Wow, baby." Diaval repeated. "We are going to have a baby."

Three months later

I was now nine months pregnant and I looked as if someone shoved the moon down my throat. Diaval was a mess, always worried that I would go into labor. Whenever I would call "Diaval", for him to feel the baby kick, for a glass of water, to tell him something, he would practically panic. It was rather hilarious. But this time, he had a good reason to panic. I winced at the sharp pain in my stomach. The baby was coming. I had barely let any sound escape from my lips when Diaval rushed in the door. "Is the baby coming?" He asked. "Yes." I said, grimacing at the growing pain. He nodded but then a surprised expressing came on his face. "Wait, really?" He asked. "Yes!" I exclaimed. "OW!"
