Everything Gets In Slow Motion

You know the fluttering feeling when you see someone, who’s so dazzling and handsome and he has all of the good appearances a god should have, everything around gets in slow motion and every flip of his hair absorbs your eyes that you can only do is to stare because you haven’t seen him for a long time?

And you know the familiar feeling that you never felt when he’s away is slowly going back in you that your eyes are watering because, you don’t know, maybe because you miss him so much.

And that is what Kyungsoo is feeling right now when he slowly peeks to what the commotion in the canteen is about. Kyungsoo then slowly takes his way down the table, his eyes are still looking at the man who catches his eyes. Kim Jongin. Kim Jongin is fucking here!! And he’s wearing the same uniform Kyungsoo is wearing!!

Jongin looks around and sees the students in the canteen responding to who’s in the canteen who leads the students. He goes to the canteen only to find someone he never wants to see again. And he thinks it’s a mistake that he goes here because this can only lead into one thing. He knows that the Kyungsoo guy will chase him around this school. He tries to sneak out the canteen but fuck!! He sees Jongin! And he’s staring at him!

He’s about to run away from the guy when the guy pleads, “WAIT!!” He stops because a teacher shouts to Kyungsoo at the same time Kyungsoo yells at him. Thus, he stops and looks at Kyungsoo who is looking at the teacher who just calls his name.

“Stop right there Mr. Do.” The teacher says strictly while walking towards Kyungsoo with a raised eyebrow. Jongin decides to watch what the teacher will do. Kyungsoo smiles and greets the teacher but the teacher returns a roll in his eyes. Oh, he resembles me. Jongin thinks that not everyone likes Kyungsoo, and Jongin doesn’t know why but he likes that truth.

“First day of the class, you make the students go wild, AGAIN!!” the glassed-teacher scolds Kyungsoo and Kyungsoo shakes his head and explains.

“Oh no no. they’re not wild seonsaengnim, they appreciate my singing skill.” Kyungsoo smiles and looks like he’s joking but he’s not. Even though he knows those fake smiles given to him by the students, he’s sure that they like his singing so somehow, he respects them.

“Nonsense!!” the teacher shouts and Kyungsoo and the students are taken aback. Well, it’s so typical to Mr. Lee to shout at Kyungsoo, but not in the first day of classes. Kyungsoo is about to speak but Mr. Lee shouts at him again pointing to Kyungsoo. “You are so NOISY as ever!! And who told you to speak to me?”

“I’m very sorry if I am noisy. But it’s my right to speak to you, I have mouth and voice.” Kyungsoo says in a matter-of-fact tone. The students become quiet because of course, it is the terror teacher Mr. Lee Kyungsoo is talking to. And Jongin thinks that Kyungsoo will be dead. He rolls his eyes because he thinks that Kyungsoo better shut his mouth up because teachers and principal are the rules and laws in the school. Kyungsoo will not win this time. Kyungsoo continues, “Oh and acoording to the law, Re--“

Kyungsoo is about to explain the law about freedom of speech when the teacher cuts him off, “And now you’re talking back at me?!” Kyungsoo somehow understands why Mr. Lee is talking at him like this, but, a little respect, Kyungsoo needs it too from the teacher. Kyungsoo just tells to shut the mouth of his teacher, “That’s how communication works, Sir.” The crowd cheers and Jongin realizes at how popular and delinquent Kyungsoo is opposing his cute, quiet, and fragile appearance.
