I want to be your hero.

Laurens POV :

He stands there staring into my eyes with nothing but sorrow. Then after he snaps out of his daze he begins to shake his head and close his eyes. "No....no!" He shouts pulling away from my grasp and wiping his fast flowing tears. "But this cant happen to you Lauren......i wont let it. I wont let you be in pain" He cries trying to catch his breathe but its to hard. His beautiful eyes begin to grow weaker in pain as he tries to smile away the pain but i know from experance it doesn't work like that. "Its ok" I mutter trying to lay on my side but then i begin to scream in pain. "No....please. If anything ever happens to you...." He stutters crying like a baby at bed time. "It wont" 

"What if it does" He screams pulling his hair and gritting his teeth.

A few minutes later the silence was broken by the sound of him walking out my room and into the hall where he began to just freak out. 

The next morning i awoke to the sound of the nurse slowly tip toeing in with my breakfast and acidently spilling my juice all over the floor. I loudly grunt as i sit myself up. "Would you like some help" I huff trying to breathe like a normal person but i was tiring having just one kidney. She stares at me for a minute then awkwardly shakes her head. I smile then try to get cofy but nothing is in anyway romotely good anymore. I have a mother  who doesn't care about me,i may die at any minute,a best friend how almost got killed because of me,and Niall who....well i dont understand anything to do with me and Niall at the moment. As i just get comfy and settle my head gentley into the pillow the door burst open and Niall hops in. "Guess what,Guess what,Guess what" He screams grabbing my hand and jumping up and down repeatively. "Shock me" I uninthustically whisper as i sling my duvet over my body as i shiver. "Im a match" He caringly says with a bubbly smile. "No" I bluntly raise my voice. "Yeah" elebrately shouts. "Your not doing that....no way" I shout. 

"Please let me do this. Please"

"No you are not doing this,no matter how much pain i may be in"

"What about the pain im in?"

"Im so sorry your in this situation but....no."

"Please,Lauren. Let me be your hero" 

I pause and shake my head. But after a while of bickering and shouting i agree to it. But i knew as soon as i could find somewhere to stay other than his house i would tell him he cant. 

The next day Niall helped me pack my stuff and we got the bus home to his. As he slowly opened the door the house looked different and as my eyes began to wonder i realised a Giant banner saying 'Wellcome home Lauren' Hanging over the bannister in bright purple. Then he slowly walks me  into the longue and there is the big sofa covered in and blue and white stripey duvet with matching pillows and a coffee table with all my favourite dvds on. "Lauren,come here babe" Nialls mum smile opening her arms offering a nice walm hug. "Now you listen here. When you stay here its like a hotel. We will get you whatever you want when you want at whatever time,You just call one of our names" She smiles. I nod my head and Niall settles me onto the sofa and snuggles me in. A while later i began to drift off and slowly after i opened my eyes i saw Niall laid there asleep with all my medecine in his hands. As soon as i stood up he woke. "Lauren,are you ok?" He shouted with an alarming tone. He walks me up to bed both our feet tapping along the floor. He settles me into bed but realises i was struggle to drift away. "Lauren....do you want me to stay with you?" He kindly offers,i shake my head to be polite but he knows what im feeling. He lays down next to me and tickles my forehead. "Its all going to be fine you know. I wont let anything ever happen to your ever again" He promises. I wake hours after bend over in agony i dont want to wake him but Niall is the only thing that makes it all just disapear. As i tip toe in the door creaks open and he wakes straight away. Tears stream down my face and eyes turn red. Niall begins to wake and his face drops. "Aww baby. Why are you crying?" He softly whispered. I knew that my whole not falling in love thing went out the window the day i met him but when he called me baby my emotions ran wild. "Its hurt so bad" I break down and fall to the floor,he jogs over wrapping his arms around me and rocking me back and fourth. "I know. But do you want to know something?" 

"Ok"

"You still look like the most beautiful girl in the world" He smiles kissing my cheeks and strooking my arms. He rocks me in his arms back and fourth until the night ends I wake in the morning still laid in his arms but he is still wide awake. "Did you sleep at all last night?" I nervously question as he squeeze my arms. "No,but i didn't mind as long as your ok" He leans his head onto mine and breathes in as i breathe out as if he was stealing my breath away. "I have to go down to the hospital later and fill out the forms for my operation" He smiles kissing my forehead as he gets dressed. I blank out for a moment trying to figure what im going to say or do but i just cant. "Please dont" I mumble.

"What are you talking about?"

"Its dangerous....its so sweet that you have taken me in and cared for me but i cant let you do this"

"Lauren please you dont understand i have to!"

"But..."

"I'll see you later"

"No!" 

But before i can stop him he is gone. The room is silent but my head is full of noise. I lay there and worry but before i can stop it my phone rings making a blazing buzz. "Hello?" I question. "Hey its me" I hear Dayna giggle.

"Oh hiya"

"Haha,hello. Anyway listen you know Bertie? Well.....i really like him. I know i have only known him for three days but he is so kind and funny" 

"Aww how sweet,ask him out?"

"Oh i dont  know.....ok!" She giggles. "Anyway i must go theres someone at the door and im pretty shore its the baby sitter my mum ordered as now a days she wont let me be alone" 

The phones hangs up and a while later Niall skips in with a gigantic smile on his face. "Its settled.....the transplant is on tuesday". Now there was nothing i could do to stop him.
