Lover be Loved

Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of my alarm.

6am

I'm so tired. School is starting to wear me out and I'm glad we only have about two more months.

I got dressed and ready for school. Before leaving I grabbed a quick bagel for breakfast and the hopped in my mothers car to go to school.

I have a lot of different friends in school. Not one is alike and not all of them are necessarily friends with each other. I'm a part of a couple different groups.

I'm the morning I take my usual spot by my friend Casey's locker. I waited for a couple of people who I share my first classes with. I mostly hang out with my friends Casey, Sam, Jordan, and Laura in the morning.

Soon enough the bell rang and it was time to go to my first period class. Even thought Science was never my favorite subject, Aaron was in that class so I was always excited to go.

I took my seat because there were still a couple minutes before class started. my eyes searched around the room for someone to talk to. I was pretty lonely at the moment.

Just like that Aaron walked through the door. It's like my mind was read. My face instantly lit up, and my mood was about four times better than it had been a couple minutes ago.

"Hey" I spoke up.

"Hey there Nova!"

"Alright time to start class!"

Just my luck. Of course we start class just as I was about to talk to Aaron.

About twenty minutes into class I heard something to my left

"Psssst"

I look over to see Aaron looking at me.

He slowly leans over to whisper come thing to me.

"After school meet me by the gazebo."

My mind was racing. I just smiled and nodded. I instantly went through everything that could happen. I was excited a little nervous, but still excited.

The day had gone by pretty slow and I spent most my classes day dreaming, but finally 9th period rolled around. I only had an agonizing 45 minutes until I was supposed to meet Aaron. It has been on my mind all day.

I spent the class learning something stupid about French and falling asleep as well. This class was boring as hell and I just wanted it to be over with already.

*ding ding ding ding*

I basically ran out of my seat and down the hall. I was getting some dirty looks, but I didn't care. The one thing I had on my mind was Aaron.

I rushed down the stairs and out the door. As I expected the gazebo was empty. I had to wait until Aaron got out of class and come here. I was so excited it only took me about a minute to rush down here.

About 2 minutes later, the door opens revealing Aaron. He held one single rose in his hand. As he looked up our eyes met. he smiled and walked over to me.

"Hey Nova"

"Hey Aaron"

"May I ask you a question"

My stomach was tingling and my heart was fluttering.

"Of course." I said.

"Would you go to spring formal with me?"

I could feel my heart leaping out of my chest and a smile a mile wide creeped onto my face.

"I would absolutely love that" I exclaimed.

He smiled and immediately went in for a hug. I leaned in and smiled into the crook of his neck. We pulled away from our embrace and he handed me the rose.

This is quite possibly the best day of my entire life.
