Life goes on. Sometimes slow, sometimes fast. Depends on how badly you have been hurt.
I received a call some time later. I hadn't really been keeping track of the days.
It was late and I knew some of my friends were hanging out. I had saw on twitter that Aurora and Aaron were partying with each other at some persons house. I hadn't really gotten over it yet because I was still really hurt that something like this would happen.
I received the call when I was at home alone. It was late and I was preparing for bed.
I knew what the call was about when I saw who was trying to reach me. I was very hesitant on answering. I really didn't feel like having this conversation.
It was Aurora.
I answered the phone. There was background music and other noises that made it very hard to hear her.
I heard a whole story about how he asked her out. She had called to make sure it was ok with me if they dated. What was I going to say, no?
I told her it was fine even though I was slowly breaking on the inside.
We hung up and I aimlessly stared at my ceiling. I was sad. This wasn't something I needed in my life. Only did I know this was the start of many heartbreaks. Many tears. If only I knew what this world had planned for me.
