Morning arrived and Laughing Jack could see (n)'s parents enter the car to drive away to work. (n) was still sleeping like she did not have the care in the world, but soon her alarm clock would ring her awake.
Would she be going to school? Laughing Jack hoped she wouldn't. He didn't want her to leave but play with him instead. He couldn't wait for her wake up.
After what seemed like an eternity, the alarm clock finally rang, shaking little (n) out of her dream as she got up and she growled angrily at it.
"Good morning, (n)" Laughing Jack greeted her.
"Wha-Why are you here?" She went with her hand through her messy hair.
"I've been here the whole night."
"Don't you have to things to do?"
"Playing games with you, that is my job."
"I can't play with you right now. I need to go to school."
"Do you have to?" Laughing Jack faked puppy eyes. Sadly, something like that wouldn't work on (n).
"Stay here and play with me."
"Can't. I'll be back soon." She grunted.
"But it's going to be boring~~~"
"It's just a couple of hours."
With that she stomped off to the bathroom to dress herself up. She came out out several moments later, wearing a purple dress with blue polka dots and a matching blue hairband. She headed to the kitchen to prepare cereal for herself.
"You don't need to eat anything, now do you?"
"Nope." He created an apple-flavored lollipop for himself and sucked on it as (n) poured milk into her bowl.
He took a quick look at her cornflakes and read that on the label that it did not contain any sugar.
"You really don't like sweet things, do you? What a shame." Laughing Jack said, still eating his lollipop.
"Well, sugar can destroy your teeth. Just take a look at yours."
Laughing Jack grinned at her in response, revealing his white sharp teeth to her.
"Yes, that. I don't want to have teeth like that." She said.
"But sugar makes you happy." Laughing Jack remarked.
"I know, but..."
Laughing Jack materialized another lollipop from the air and held it out to her.
"Stop giving me sweets." She declined.
"Fine. You have no idea how much you are missing out." He continued sucking on his lollipop in an attempt to make (n) jealous. He still couldn't understand why she did not like sweets.
He swore he could see a tiny hint of regret in her eyes, but her proud poker face did not show much emotion.
"I will be going to school now. Don't do anything stupid. My babysitter will be here before I get home so don't try to scare her."
Laughing Jack was amused.
"And you are giving me orders, (n)? That's no fun."
She grimaced at him. "I never asked you to stick with me anyway. Oh well." She sighed. "You can play with my toys, okay? Stay in my room and don't go anywhere."
"Fine ,(n)~~~~" He playfully rolled his eyes.
"If you do anything stupid, you're going to be in trouble."
