Laughing Jack felt (n)'s pulse slow down a little, indicating that she was starting to relax. She got up to dress herself and opened the wardrobe to search for clothes.

"Tch, that brat's mother has just an equally bad taste for fashion." She complained as none of the clothes looked pleasing to her.

"Why don't you continue wearing that white dress? It looks good on you."  Laughing Jack gave his opinion.

"I can't keep on running around looking like nurse, it attracts too much attention."

"You have my attention." Laughing Jack told her.

"Whatever."

"If you unchain me, I could make you a dress."

"Oh sure, by the minute I unchain you, you'd already be gone."

"I will not leave you."

"Right, like hell you wouldn't."

"Do you not trust me, (n)?"

"Of course not! Why would I ever trust you?"

Hearing this broke Laughing Jack's heart. He had expected her to lose the trust for him but hearing her say it was kinda painful.

"(n)... You know I am sorry."

She lingered for a moment before deciding to unchain him from the bed.

"Well, no matter. I just want you to go with me somewhere before I d-  I mean, I just want you to accompany me somewhere."

"And where might that be?"

"You'll see." She just simply replied. "Now, would you care to make my dress?"

Laughing Jack simply nodded and proceeded to create a dress for her. This time it was a black and white strapless mini dress made of  lace and matching black lace stockings held by a garter belt.

He handed it to her and she wore it, matching her outfit with her white nurse heels. Laughing Jack bit his lip. She looked very gorgeous this way and he couldn't stop staring at her.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

Laughing Jack did not quiet know what to say to her.

"Aw, am I so pretty you've become speechless?"

"Yes." He answered bluntly.

"I was joking."

"I was not."

"Where has your humor gone, Laughing Jack?"

"It has gone with you."

"... Let's just get going." She rolled her eyes playfully and walked out of the room. Laughing Jack decided to follow her lead.

"Where are we heading to anyways?"

"You will see."

They left the house and proceeded to take a route through an area that was less populated, since their black and white combination would attract a lot of attention. But Laughing Jack enjoyed being dressed in that manner. It somehow enhanced their so called "friendship."

They passed by a field of daisies. He never seen so many daisies before. He wondered where she was taking him. She still refused to tell him.

How was she anyways? Ever since their... lovely game, he felt horrible for leaving her. How has she been the whole ten years? How did she cope up with her disease? Did it get worse? He was worried.

"(n)... may I ask you something?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"About your disease... how are you?"

She grimaced at his question but answered anyways.

"It's gotten worse. Been vomiting a lot more blood than before. I don't know how much of my intestines have been eaten by the cells but I'm still alive."

"I'm happy that you are... but sad to hear it has gotten worse."

"Aw, come one Jack, not like you seriously care about me."

"I do care about you."

"Sure, my 'best friend' who just left me to die."

Suddenly she looked very sad.

"Ten whole years... I have been all alone.  I have secretly been hoping for you to come back to me and see how I was.... of course, you never did."

Poor girl... How could he have been so inconsiderate? He, above all, should know what it must feel like to be all alone, to be forgotten, to be waiting for someone to return, to be shown they care...

She had held on to him. That's how she still remembered him after such a long time.

"(n)... I am so sorry. It has been a horrible mistake of mine. I will do anything so you may forgive me."

"Don't sweat it. After all, you're a killer, you couldn't sympathize with me. Just stick with me for now and after we're done with all of this business you can leave and go wherever you want."

"I will not leave you again."

"Whatever. Let's just keep goi-"

Her arm reached out for the nearest tree as blood shot out of her mouth. Laughing Jack gasped and held her to make sure she wouldn't fall.

"(n)! Are you alright?"

"Y-yes, I'm good" She panted, wiping away the blood from her mouth.

"Do you still have those pills?"

She nodded and drew out a small bottle from her bag. Instead of taking just one pill, she held the bottle over her mouth and swallowed several pills at once.

"Are you sure it is alright for you to take so many?"

"I'll be fine. Besides... we're almost there."

Laughing Jack wanted to carry her and but she insisted that she could walk by herself, so he just walked close to her. He hoped she would really been fine.

After some time, the duo reached an abandoned amusement park. And it wasn't just any amusement park, it was a huge one!

"Here we are." (n) said proudly.

It looked like no one had been here for more than twenty years already but Laughing Jack would definitely love to check it out. Especially with (n).

"Let's go."
