water was running down my back, it's freezing. anyone with anorexia knows why.

today everyone is going to a lake close by. i told lily that's what i wanted to do for my birthday. like i said i want to go swimming.

yesterday everyone went shopping for bathing suits, and swim trunks.

*At the store*

"rylee look at this one! it's strappy !" kate yelled at me.

"i think a full one piece will do." i shook my head.

kate and cam did not take no for and answer, i was shoved in the changing room.

Ah fuck it.

i quickly stripped my clothes and put the bathing suit on. i felt confident, i looked thin. after a quick smile i knew it was the one i wanted.

*flashback over*

  i threw shorts over my bathing suit, and grabbed my beach towel.

cam and Kate waited for me since everyone else was already starting to get in separate cars.

there was three cars, since three kids here had their drivers license we got to go by ourselves. we still had to be back in 4 hours.

cam and kate sat up front, so that gave me the whole back. we've all been getting along lately, i guess i could call them my friends.

when we arrived the lake was pretty much empty. just seemed to be us and a few people.

i laid my beach towel down and took my shorts off. instead of getting in the water like everyone else, i sat down.

finn must have noticed because he got out and walked over to me. he smiled at me, it was more of a sorry smile.

"come on swim with me." he held his hands out.

"i don't know how." lies.

"then why'd you want to come?" i swallowed as i thought about my dream.

"finn?"

"yeah? what's up?" he tilted his head.

"nevermind, lets just go swim." i stood up and dusted the sand off of me.

finn's eyes scanned over me as he gulped, "your bathing suit is nice."
