After we are dismissed, I walk back to the dining hall, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand.
Why can't I stop crying? Why won't it stop?
I can still hear people whispering and commenting as I walk by. Why can't they just leave me alone? They don't know anything, it's like the interior all over again...
"Hey!" Someone shouts at me, but I try my best to ignore them and turn and walk up the steps to the dining hall doors. I reach up to grab the door handle, but someone grabs my wrist and holds it firmly, I can tell they have no intention to let me go anytime soon.
I look over to see who grabbed me. There's a tall boy who looks a bit older than me, the bottom of his brown hair is shaved, while the top part is a lighter brown and long enough to cover the tips of his ears.
"Hey, Sheena girl, what was it like to live in luxury away from the titans?" He asks smugly. Why is everyone like this? What did I ever do?
I advert my eyes, what can I say to him? He's the only one to say anything to my face.
"You don't know anything." I say to him sternly, glaring into his small light brown eyes.
"Come on, don't pretend to be so tough," He smirks cockily, "I'm sure all you Sheena girls are the same; being pampered into exhaustion."
Rage builds inside of me as I stare up at him, his smirk grows and his eyes seem to say "Got you now!"
Is everyone here like this? I haven't known many people that Levi didn't know, is this why?
I try to shake my hand free, "Please, let me go." I try to control my voice, though it's hard when you've just finished crying and you're on the verge of tearing someone in half.
His eyebrows arch slightly and he tightens his grip on my wrist, making the bone ache.
"I'll have to say no to that. Now tell me, where is it you really came from? Surely some place where all your family and friends adored you, I'm sure, you're not used to dealing with people who don't like you."
My burning rage only grows, but sadness suddenly washes over me as if my rage was all a distant dream. Tears well up in my eyes and I tilt my head towards the ground, trying to blink them away.
"Aw, look who's crying." He says bitterly.
I shut my eyes tight. If I don't give him a reaction, maybe he'll back off.
"Hey knock it off, Jean you've done enough."
I look over in the direction of the voice and immediately recognize who said it; the brown-haired boy from yesterday.
He walks up to us and pushes the boy named Jean out of the way and stands between us, "Don't worry about him, he's just an arrogant ass who only cares about himself."
I can't think of anything to say, what can I say? I look down at the ground, "I believe it." I say, quieter than I should have.
Jean shoves the brown-haired boy away, "Shut it, Eren! You don't know anything, you suicidal bastard!"
Eren...
"Shut up, you're completely clueless!" Eren shoots back
"Hey, guys stop arguing!" A boy with large blue eyes and chin length blond hair steps in between the two and spreads his arms out.
A girl with long black hair and brown eyes stands behind Eren and puts her hand on his shoulder, "Armin's right, you two should stop before Instructor Shadis comes."
