Priscilla PoV

Three years have passed in a blink of an eye, from being a bottle raised brat crying and pooping on her diapers, I have mature....a bit. But hey at least it was better than being always carried around by mom and cooing when you speak.

Anyway thanks to my internal age of being a girl in high school  it was easy to learn the language. And I learned it at a young age at around two years old, I was able to speak the language well though there are some miss ups here and there but nonetheless it made my parents enthusiastic that I can learn things quite easily.

Man I hope they don't do unnecessary things like blurt out that I'm a prodigy of sorts. Not only that but at an early age I can already read this world's language easily so it also sort of boosted my family's ego, just a tad bit. I hope.

Aside from that I've also been told that starting now I'm gonna start learning more on the economic backgrounds, the nobles and as well as the manners. Such lessons are said to be integral for me being the duke's daughter. Especially basics in literature and arithmetic lessons. Personally I don't have a problems with these since I need to know and have a grasp on what the situation is in this world, I've heard snippets of it and even read some books regarding it but books can only tell you that much.

From what the books say some one hundred years ago war broke and it lead to Clandestinus and many other countries to fight other forces and as well as to scour for new territories towards the south. And even the northern seas.

This also sounds similar in the case of Europe during the age of exploration when most of them journeyed to different parts of the globe to secure outlying territories and as well colonize and dominate other civilizations.

However there is one major difference in this world and earth, and it s that most of the north did find suitable land but were unsuccessful in capturing, colonizing or even making alliances with it. Which is quite foolish if you look at it closely. The countries that aimed to use force were eventually weakened due to their inefficiency in resources when trying to attack southern nations and it led to their downfall.

This lasted for almost a century and eventually most of the nations stopped attacking the south and tried to form alliances with them. But as of now the south barred any means of contact with the north for alliances, and with most of the northern countries weakened due to that pointless struggle these countries are now trying to bargain with their neighbors since they owe some type of debt to other outlying kingdoms and nations.

Particularly since Clandestinus only attempted to invade the south once they were able to hold out and have several countries on their debt due to their ceaseless attempts. Strangely though the politics in this world is even more complicated.

"Priscilla your tutor is here!" My mom calls.

"Coming!"

I rush towards the library where my tutor is waiting for me, she was a graduate of Vaenette Royal Academy. Alya Lune, a wonderful person and a good role model.

"Okay Priscilla time to get to the books, listen closely for we are about to discuss the current events, starting with the Great Divide."

"Yes teacher."

"Good now listen up,  the continent of Vargaya is divided into two main parts right?"

"Yeah the north and the south." I replied.

"Yes, you really do study in advance. What a good girl." She praises me.

I have to, who knows I may die since this world is not that accurate, maybe if there are other reincarnators they may begin to act foolishly thinking this is just a game, that is if they have knowledge of this world.
