Narumi gave them a closed eyes smile and placed his left hand on top of Mikan's head.

"Once again, she has returned, much to the surprise of most of you. Sakura Mikan is officially an Alice!!"

.

"Hello!" Mikan beamed brightly with her eyes close and hands clasp behind her, pleased to be here. The air around her swirled with sunshine and cheeriness, so much that Narumi who was standing beside her could feel it sticking on him and seeping into his skin.

Instantly, the class erupted into loud clamors, borderline chaos – Narumi don't mind, he enjoys it.

The thought of this girl passing the tests that their teacher and their strongest classmate – a leader to most, much loved and cherished despite the boy's harsh and rough edges – gave to her was a shock to them; a notion that they didn't entertained – a few did but they won't admit outloud – and didn't want it to happen – again, some did.

However, the sight of her standing before their very eyes was certainly not a figment of their imagination nor was it a hallucination. Futilely, some refuse to believe it and insist that this was merely but a dream, a nightmare or maybe a trick that their teacher conjured up – a few students, like Tobita Yuu, did have Illusion Alice after all.

There was also a rumor that she had fought against Natsume and if it was true, the girl had come out unscathed - well, not really, she did earn some nasty bruises. However, they couldn't find themselves to believe it. That boy wasn't someone anyone would dare to cross with – except for the teachers or the higher ups. True or not, it could clearly be seen that the relationship between Mikan and Natsume was bad from the start and that certainly didn't make them find her likeable. Undoubtedly, that girl won't live here peacefully – that, they were assured.

"Wow! Congratulations!" Beamed brightly, a girl with long dark blue hair – stopping under her shoulders – and straight bangs; her matching blue eyes glittered truthfully to her emotion as she and the other approached Mikan. "We were worried about you"

Hearing that, Mikan immediately brightened up, her eyes taking in the sight of them – well, at least there were some kind-hearted students in this devilish class.

"Was it scary?"

"Hey, hey, what kind of Alice do you have?"

"You're pretty awesome! You won against that bear!? He's really strong, you know!?"

The brown haired girl smiled blindingly at them, soaking in their attention. Surrounded by some of her classmates, Mikan feels like she was accepted by them, even if there are still others who don't welcome her but this was enough for her. Mikan was really happy about this because she wants to be friends with them, even those who dislike her and vice versa. While she was relieved and glad that she had succeeded, Mikan didn't forget the help she got from her best friend, Hotaru, and her newly made friend, Yuu – also Ruka, even if it was unwilling at first.

Mikan was incredibly proud of her friend – Hotaru was the one who won against Bear – and was greatly reassured from yesterday that their friendship hadn't ended yet and was still going and strong, perhaps stronger now. The young girl shot a large smile at the short black haired girl who caught the look and simply stared back with blank purple eyes that unnerved a few students around her quite a bit. "Oh, but Hotaru and Yuu helped me out a lot"

I'm so happy!! Mikan flushed with immense joy.

"I can't believe that they're all over her" Grimaced a young girl with short dark hair tinted with green sheen, her right hand rested on her hip. Her brilliant green eyes narrowed down at the girl, displeased to see the person who dares to defy her crush. How utterly idiotic of her to oppose someone like Natsume and there was no way that her beloved lost to this girl. She must have cheated! No, the rumor was a lie! There was no way Natsume would ever lose! She refuses to believe!
