Archie's POV
I walk in the front doors of my school when I'm greeted with probably the most nauseating sight, Veronica and Chuck making out. I roll my eyes and continue to walk to my locker. They have been dating for the past 2 months and I've been forced to bare witness to their dates at Pops, walking through the halls hand in hand, and even them sneaking off into the janitors closet during their free period. It's been pure hell. The worst part is that I know he's not good enough for her, not at all. At some point he's going to screw up and break her heart and I will be here to clean up the pieces. "Hey Arch" I hear Veronica say from behind me. I turn around and face her "hey Ronnie, what's up?" I ask. "Since we're going that history project together do you want to come by the Pembrook tomorrow? My mom is away on business so we can really get the work done" she says smiling. I smile back "Yeah. What time?" I ask. "Uh how is 12?" she asks. "That's good" I say. Chuck walks up to Veronica and slings his arm around her waist "Lets go babe" he says. It takes everything in me not to smack that smug look off his face, what does she even see in that guy? "Alright. We'll see you in the lounge" Veronica says before they walk off together hand in hand.

The final bell rings to dismiss us from class and I walk up to Veronica. "Are you coming to Pops with Jughead, Betty, and I?" I ask. "Of course. Just let me go to my locker and we can go meet Jug and Betty" she says and walks out of the class room. I walk behind her and go to her locker with her "oh I forgot my jacket in the locker room. I'll meet you back here in 2 minutes" I say. She nods her head and continues to put her stuff in her locker while I walk down to the locker room. I swing the door open and I'm greeted with the sight of Chuck Clayton cheating on Veronica with Midge Klump. "Andrews!" He shouts while slightly pushing Midge back by her shoulders "What the hell Chuck? What about Veronica?" I ask angrily. "What... I can't explore my options" he asks smirking at me. I roll my eyes "exploring your options is not something you do 2 months into a relationship!" I shout back. "And what about you, Midge. You're Veronica's friend. What are you going to say to her?" I ask narrowing my eyes at her. "Nothing" Chuck says interrupting what she was going to say. "She doesn't have to know. You're not going to tell her, Andrews" he says while reaching into my locker and pulling out my varsity jacket and tossing it at me. "You'll be hearing from Veronica soon, Chuck" I say while catching my coat and then storming out of the locker room.

Veronica's POV
I check the time on my phone and I look down the hall where Archie went. He said 2 minutes but he had to of been reaching 6 or 7. I groan and lean my head against the locker. "Veronica" he says while quickly walking up to me. I turn to face him "ready to go?" I ask smiling at him. He softens up a bit "everything okay?" I ask. He smiles "yeah. Everything is fine" he says. I nod and we start to walk to the parking lot to meet Betty and Jughead.

"Maybe 3 milkshakes was too many" Jughead groans after he finally finishes his meal. I laugh "you think?" He rolls his eyes and smirks "so what prompted you not to bring your boyfriend? Is he too busy flexing in the mirror?" He teases. I roll my eyes "he's not that shallow. You just need to get to know him" I say while sipping my water. He nods his head "I'll take your word for it."

Archie's POV
"I'll take your word for it" Jughead says. I have to bite down on my tongue to stop myself from telling Ronnie what I saw. Should I tell her? Yes. I have to, before she falls in love with this guy instead of me. I love Veronica, Chuck doesn't, she should be with me.

"Walk me home, Archiekins?" She asks as we step outside the door. I smile at her and nod "yeah. Sure thing" I say. We start walking on the street that leads to the Pembrook and I instantly start to run through all the reasons why I need to tell her. "So have you spoken to Val?" She asks looking up at me. I shake my head, "nope. That's over" I say. To be honest I haven't thought about Val in weeks. I've only been thinking of Veronica.
