I won't lie, at first there were definitely a few growing pains when I left with Tony Stark. Even though he had a state of the art training facility, lavish living quarters, and just about everything else someone could possibly need, I couldn't stay cooped up at the compound. Of course someone like Stark has a plan b, a plan c, all the way through z, so we made a deal.

"Alright kid, here's what we can do." Stark says as he takes off a pair of sunglasses, "You can stay in the city, in an apartment of our choosing, and continue to lead a low profile life style." He looks at me waiting for my response. "Okay... will I be able to train if I leave the compound?" I ask him, wondering about the details of this arrangement. Tony doesn't hesitate at my question, "Of course, we'll give you everything you need. Don't worry I read your file so I already know what you'll need, you're welcome by the way." Stark begins to go over details and I finally cut him off to ask, "What's the catch? I mean, why the option?" Stark pauses and smiles, "This isn't Alcatraz, you get a choice." He sees me roll my eyes at his sarcastic comment, then adds, "I also have a job for you."

Our agreement was that I'd stay in a simple apartment, with basic tools for training, among other necessities. Of course, Starks don't do simple. Instead of a simple apartment, I moved into a three level town house, as Tony felt I'd need the space. The first level was made up with a living room, a kitchen, and a dining room. The second floor had been an office, complete with a state of the art computer and technology I hadn't seen, and a media room across the hall from it. The third floor had a two bedrooms, one was the master suite, and a second living room. When Tony first brought me here I told him he'd over done it. That was when he told me to check out the lowest level of the town house. He motioned to a door under the staircase with a biometric fingerprint scanner on the doorknob. Behind the door was a set of stairs leading down to a room filled with sets of punching bags, matts, a climbing wall and weapons. "It's been soundproofed, and the walls were built to withstand whatever you might be able to dish out," Tony explained as I took a tour of the room. I looked back at Tony to see that he was waiting for my reaction, "what's all this for?" I asked him, to which he replied, "I owe a debt kid, and I pay my debts." I knew he was talking about Nat and Clint. I wasn't angry anymore at him for what happened, that passed a long time ago. After a moment of silence, I looked back to him and said, "Thank you, I could really put this stuff to some use." He smiled and nodded, "No problem kid."

Tony told me that he wanted me to keep an eye on a subject as an extra safety precaution. He explained that his head of security, Happy was in charge, but I would act as a buffer if Happy, for whatever reason, can't be there. So I enrolled in a high school nearby in Queens, picked up a schedule made to stay close to my subject, and began keeping an eye on Peter Parker. I'm not sure why yet, but it's only my first day, and this is only a kid. Right?
