I open my eyes slowly from the heavenly slumber I was tranced into. My cell door was creaked open, almost as if someone had previously peered in. Instead of immediately standing to my feet, risking the blood to rise to my head, I turned onto my stomach, propping myself up until I was comfortable. I feel like I'd drank ten thousand ale's, although I did quite the opposite.
"You're up!" I boisterous and happy-go-lucky voice spoke from my door before I turned my head to the entrance, noticing the family red-head who leaned on my door frame, gulping down a cuppa. I smiled my greeting before turning to my hands and smothering my face, sighing immensely. "Clearly you're not."
We both laugh at her comment before I slowly got out of bed, facing her as she gave off a dominant smile, placing her hot coffee down before creeping toward me. Her arms wrapped around my neck before pulling me into a hug; precisely what I needed at this time. Before I could wrap my arms around her, Bea shoved her head inside my cell, her hand clasping the silver door.
"Maxine and I are heading for a shower. Wanna tag along?" she asked genuinely, looking between Ruby and I; who had pushed each other away to focus on Bea.
I looked toward Ruby for an answer. "I've already had one. You go ahead." she smiled back. I nod slightly, secretly admitting that I do need a good shower. As Bea left, I squeezed past Ruby and grabbed my toilet essentials before chasing after her and Maxine.
"Honestly, I hate kids." I said fondly, watching myself in the mirror as I brushed my hair free of knots before I entered the showers; preferably after I brush my hair.
"I don't." Maxine smiled, fixing her makeup and hair. I looked over to her, meeting her gaze. I let off a grin before tracing my gaze back to the mirror.
"Opinions, opinions, opinions." I shush before the doors swing open. I turn around, watching Kaz and Allie enter. I eye off Kaz, knowing her intentions.
"You're in the wrong place." Kaz said loudly to Maxine. I looked to my left, watching Maxine turn around too. More girls walked in, causing my heart to race farther.
"Give it a rest, Kaz-" Maxine said calmly, grabbing a towel and toiletries. I wanted to do the same, but I wasn't finished showering.
"Shouldn't you have stayed in the man's prison?" Kaz said. I looked to Allie who held a tight smile on her face. I couldn't tell if she was a maniac, or enjoying the fact she hadn't beat her up yet.
"Yeah, blokes, Red Right Hand... Not perfect together." Allie exclaimed calmly. I smiled slightly; out of anger of course, before turning to Bea; who stood in the shower still.
"She said; give it a rest." Bea said predominantly, pulling the shower curtain back to reveal her dripping wet hair and body. I smiled weakly, knowing Bea would- somehow- sort this shenanigan out.
"Didn't think you'd be too far away." Kaz said quietly. Maxine and I exchanged glances as Allie stared right at Bea- and not in a threatening way.
"Hah- and while you're here, if you want to start something- anything- you run it by me first." Bea said, wiping her face free of droplets.
"Sure," Kaz agreed, her face resting before lowering a toothbrush she'd been biting, "got it, Bea. Check with the boss!" Kaz pointed the toothbrush at Bea before exclaiming Bea's words to her henchmen. I rose my head, focusing on Bea and what she'd do next. They walked to the hangers before Bea watched us back.
"Come on." Bea urged as Maxine perched herself off the sink. I watched Bea slip her jumped and trackies on over the towel before signalling us. As I went to walk, Kaz and a black haired girl stopped me. Maxine and Bea turned around to face me, as my attention was mainly on Bea.
