Ruby's hands guided down my resting body, hitting my stomach. I flinch, forcing her hand to back up.
"Sorry I forgot." She tissed before bringing her hands to my face, engulfing my every breath with kisses. Through the deep breaths and dry puffs, her fingers seeped into my hair; her signature move. Before we went further, she stopped me, pushing herself away. I look between her and the surrounding teal, confused.
"Are you okay? Is this okay?" I ask, leaning forward slightly in case I have to consult her. She nodded, a smile formed on her lips.
"Perfectly fine." She answers, looking up to her hand as she began to drag her fingers through my hair. "I rely on you so much, you couldn't understand." She whispered before her face fell onto mine. I immediately pushed her away, watching her carefully. Last time someone 'relied' on me, I completely broke them down. I can't do that to Ruby. I love her too much.
"No, you don't." I stutter, watching her amber eyes fill with confusion.
"What?" She chuckled nervously, shaking her head. "I'm not following."
"The last person that relied on me with a secret, and in general, I completely let them down. I can't do that to you. I care about you too much." I exclaim, watching her eyes fall heavy.
"I don't care for that." She responded, waiting for mine. I didn't speak- maybe I shouldn't even care this much. It seemed that maybe I was doing something wrong, even in a whole.
"I'm here for you." She finally added, her hands placed on my hands. "No matter what."
"I.. I know." I whisper. It wasn't long until our lips were locked onto each other, falling back onto the mattress we sat on.
"Jones!" My name was hailed from the entrance. I pushed myself off the mattress next to sleeping Ruby, kicking my feet off of the bed. I tuck my shirt down properly, brushing it off slightly. My hair was a mess from our 'business', but to be honest, it simply just looked like I woke up.
I walk out, closing the door quietly behind me. Miss Smiles stood on the outside of the black bar as I cross my arms, walking toward her.
"Yeah?" I ask, my voice overly tired. Miles stares at me with that starky grin.
"Ready to leave?" she asks, as I immediately woke up.
"What- now?" I argue. She shook her head with a smile.
"Tomorrow. At 3." she answers as I fully understand. My hand reaches my neck and rubs it gently. I must have slept on it wrong that night, as it caned to even look up. "Just be ready by then." she said, walking off with her hands behind her back. I blinked, turning around and walking to my cell. At the corner of my eye, I see Bea exiting her cell.
"Are you getting out?" she whispers. I shook my head, giving off a smile as I continue to graze my neck.
"Not until tomorrow." I answer, watching her face ease up. I turn back to my door, looking through the little window and to Ruby, asleep and huddled in the corner. As Bea went to go into her cell, I quickly called her name. She turned back to me, eyebrows raised as she held onto the door frame. "Whatever you do, please take care of Ruby."
She nodded with a faint smile. "I'll do my best, Lilah." I mouthed the words thank you to her before she left me in the lonely block. I have to admit that I would miss this place entirely, but I had one more thing I needed to do.
I race into Boomer's cell, her head props up from the bed.
"What the fuck?" she shouted, although not too loud. I stood behind the door, watching her.
