The door bell started ringing just after  seven pm, people were giving me high fives and handed over gifts, I told them to go start having fun and to help themselves to food, mum had made enough to feed a small army, she was the best, it was starting to get wild, music booming people shouting and the drinks were flowing, this was my kind of party the only things missing were that my brother had been held up and I still hadn't seen Polly, I really hope she hasn't pulled out of coming.

I began drinking and mingling with people from school, Kate a girl from the pack came over and started dancing with me, rubbing up and down my side, by now I had had a few drinks so I pulled her round to face me and started dance with her pulling her in closer so are bodies were touching. Sudden kyle my wolf started pacing getting excited

" what is wrong with you calm down this place is heaving with humans" I said

"MATE" " MATE" was all he said,

then I smelt it, the smell of raspberries and blackberries it was so addictive I had to find that smell, I rushed around the pool the smell was almost over powering now, then I saw her, but she wasn't alone Graham one of the pack member was putting his hands all over her, I couldn't stop Kyle taking over, a small growl escaped my lips and the words "mine" came out, next thing I know I'm throwing Graham in the pool warning him to stay away from my 'mate', I then grabbed her and took her to my room.

" I'm so glad your my mate" I said to her.

I leaned in to kiss her but she pulled away this was the second time she had done this now, I was alittle angry but mainly dissappointed

"are you rejecting me?" I asked

"no I'm not" she said,

a wave of relieve went over me,

"I already knew we were mates, Lilly told me yesterday, I just don't really know what having a mate means" she said looking shyly at me,

I explained about soul mates and how every one only has one true mate, by the time I was finished she was almost crying, what had I done, why was she crying I never wanted to hurt this girl, then she done something I didn't expect she kissed me not a soft kiss but a needy kiss, I deepened the kiss, she seemed to be letting me take the lead so I bit her bottom lip just enough for me to plunge my tongue in her mouth and explored the taste,  it was just like her smell, raspberries and blackberries, I wrapped my arms around her and moved my hands down on to her bottom she let out a moan and that tip me over the edge.

I pulled her closer, she was becoming more confident biting my lip and running her fingers though my hair, it was an amazing feeling no girl had ever made me feel this way, I was just about to work my hands under her top when

'bang' 'bang'

" Polly you ok in there?" her friend Libby shout out,

"yeah fine, I'll be down in a minute" Polly managed to get out,

I could tell she had enjoyed our make out session, her face was a beetroot colour and she was breathing heavily, but mostly I could smell her excitement and let me tell you she wanted me.

I let out a big smile before saying

" let's go party",

but she stopped me a handed me a bag, inside was a t-shirt which read ' I'm not afraid of the big bad wolf ' just as I thought she has a great sense of humour, as well as a beautiful body, god I was one lucky guy.

I lifted her up and ran down the stairs,  before she had time to realise what was happening I throw her in the pool,

I knew from that moment I was going to treat Polly like an angel and I'd never let anybody hurt her, she was mine and only mine!.

The party was going great everyone was having fun, and the best present ever was finding out Polly was my mate, and she hasn't rejected me. 

" hey bro happy birthday, so you final turned into a big bad wolf" Rick my brother walked over saying

" you made it, I thought you wouldn't get here til later" I high fived him,

Rick was two years older than me he decided he wanted to see the world so went off to collage, he was tall around six foot four inches, medium build with jet black hair, and if I were a girl I would find him hot.

" I couldn't miss my little brother birthday, plus I've brought someone back to meet mum and dad,

"who is it? do I get to meet her?" I asked,

he looked behind us and called out to a girl who was maybe alittle older than me, she came over she was slim with long blonde hair and green eyes, she was pretty but nothing compared to my polly,

" Stuart this is Kate she is my mate" I was shocked

"your mate? does she know about us then?" yeah cause she is a werewolf too" Rick said

" she used to live here actually, she moved to the same collage as me this term, I couldn't believe it myself until I smelt the most wonderful smell of violets and I just couldn't resist her" he smiled

" that great man I'm so pleased for you, I feel abit sorry for her though" I laughed,

Rick needed someone to calm him down he has always been abit of a wild one.

" I have someone for you to meet too, you'll never believe it I found my mate too"

I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face as I told my brother about Polly

" well where is she? you haven't let her out your sight have you man" Rick laughed,

I looked round trying to see Polly than I spotted her with her friend Libby and by the look on her face she still wasn't happy I throw her in the pool, maybe now wasn't the best time to introduce her to the family

" she's over there but" Rick cut me off before I could say anything else

" let's go meet her then, see if she is good enough for my little bro,"

before I could say anything he was walking towards Polly with Kate in tow, I got infront of him,Polly had her back to us so I went and put my hands around her waist, I felt her body tense up she spun around with a huge smile on her face,

"polly I want you too"

but before I could finish she started screaming and waving her arms around

"kate what are you doing here?" she said whilst running up to my brothers mate and flinging her arms around her

both me and Rick let out a growl,

" you know Kate?" I looked at Polly

" yeah she is my best friend, she left at the end of last term to go to the collage"

" Kate, what are you doing here? why didn't you call?" Polly asked now looking abit annoyed at her friend

" I'm, umm, here with Rick his my umm boyfriend" she mumbled

" Hi I'm Rick, you must be Polly Stuart has just been telling me about you, thought I better check you out for myself, make sure you are good enough for my little bro" Rick started laughing until Kate smacked him

"what was that for" he said,

It was good to see my brother so relaxed, collage must of been doing him some good.

" so if Rick is your brother and Kate and him are dating does that mean" Polly stopped and looked at Kate

" your a wolf! why didn't you tell me?"

Kate looked shocked I think she thought Polly was a human just as much as Polly thought she was.

" wait your a wolf too how? when?" Kate practically screamed at Polly lucky the music was loud or else everybody would have just discovered our secret.

" I think we better leave you to catch up, come on stu let's go get us some drinks. we didn't see the girls before the end of the party but I enjoyed catching up with Rick, I had missed my brother, and I knew that if anything happen to Polly I would feel it now the mating bond had started.
