I ran for miles I was beyond angry, my mate had just walked off with rogues, and didn't even give me a second glance, but also with my father, why did he stop me going to her?

I stopped at a river bed to have a drink, I could feel the pain from being so far away from Polly, and my wolf was calling out to our mate.

My head started pounding, Polly was trying to mind link me, I didn't want to listen to anythink she had to say, but my wolf was fighting with me to hear her out, and that to him something didn't add up, so I opened my mind up but didn't talk, Polly told me that it was all my father's doing, and that Jenny would be home. She sent me a image of a cave not far from our territory, she wanted to meet me there. I didn't know what to believe what if she was setting me up and I walked straight in to a trap.

" Her wolf is telling me the same and she wouldn't lie" my wolf said

" how can we trust them" I asked

" we have no choice, we will die if we don't have our mate, and why would they go with rogues they have no reason to". my wolf said

I laid in front of the water just staring at my reflection trying to think of anything that might give a clue to whom to believe, the only thing I could think of was that my father wouldn't allow me in on helping with Jenny, I had a very small feeling that maybe Polly was telling the truth.

I needed to see if Jenny was home safely, I ran back towards Golden Moon territory, as I got to the border I was surprised not to see anybody patrolling, or looking for Polly, something was definitely not right about this. I shifted back to my human form in the bottom of the garden grabbing some clothes from the shed.

As I walked in a couldn't believe my eyes, they were having a fucking party! whilst I had disappeared and Polly betraying us!!

" mum what the hell is going on??" I growled

" they just handed her back Stuart, she is absolutely fine, your dad collected her from the forest earlier this afternoon" mum said so proud

" where's Polly? you father said you and her had gone for a run?!" mum said

" he said what?" I almost couldn't stop myself from shifting and killing my father, but I knew I wouldn't stand a chance on my own

Suddenly my father grabbed me by the shoulder and hauled me outside

" what the hell is going on dad" I shouted at him

" you say a word about earlier and I'll kill you got that" he growled in my ear

" so it's true, Polly didn't betray us, you offered her for an exchange, how could you dad?" I asked

" it was quiet easy actually son, you sister is worth a hundred Polly's and you can find some one else" he was almost laughing

" I will kill you for this, I don't care that your my father, you mean nothing to me anymore" I said refusing to give in to my wolf and let him try his luck agsinst my dad

" careful what you say son I can easily banish you like your brother!!"

"you banished Rick why?" I said shocked

" let's just say he found out some stuff I didn't want people knowing about" he said

For the first time ever I saw evil in my father's eyes.

I headed straight back out into the woods, I could believe what I had just heard, my father was my hero growing up, all the stories he told me I believed, but now I felt nothing but hatred for the man, I dug into my pockets and found my mobile I dialed Rick's number.

" hey man how's it going" Rick said all happy

" why the fuck didn't you tell me what our father was like, he didn't even tell you about Jenny did he?!!" I shouted down the phone

"Stuart calm down what is going on down there" Rick said

" well I'll give you the short version, Jenny got kidnapped and dad traded Polly for Jenny, then told mum nothing about it, and he has threatened to banish me from the pack if I say a word," I managed to say in a rush my wolf was clawing to get out.

" he didn't he promised he would leave you be if I left, the bastard I'll be home in a few hours, where shall I meet you?"

I showed Rick the image polly had sent me then I shifted and went to find my mate.
