Secrets to be told

This was like a nightmare come true

Polly

I woke up to the sound of water dripping and an awful smell like rotting garbage, I tried to move but I was chained to the wall, the memories of last night came flooding back, Kate, Libby god I hope they were ok.

I slowly opened my eyes and took in my surrounding, I was in a small brick shelter, it reminded my of an old air raid shelter, I looked into the other corners of the room and I could just make out a figure crouched up.

"hey kate is that you? are you ok?" I shouted over

I could see she was slowly moving but she didn't look good

"Polly what happened? I feel like I've done ten rounds with Tyson" Kate said whilst winching in pain

"It was Frank Kate, I think he is after revenge for what happened" I said, scared now of what Frank had planned for us

I tried mind linking Stuart but I couldn't, Frank must have given me something that stopped me being able to communicate.

I suddenly heard voices coming towards the door

" hello girls, I see you have woken, bet you wish you never had met my son now don't you Polly?" Frank said staring at me

" You don't even have the right to call him son, he hates you, and he will kill you for this, if Rick doesn't first, you should have never come back Frank" I shouted at him

" I would watch your mouth, remember who's the one tied to the wall helpless to defend herself or her little friend over there" he said smiling

I quickly looked towards Kate to see a guy hoovering over her

" leave her alone" I screamed trying to get to kate

"HA, I can see you would of made a great luna, thinking of others before yourself, shame I don't think that will happen now and you're carrying my grandchild" he snarled

I couldn't believe he was really going to try and kill me, this bloke has really lost it, I couldn't see Libby anywhere, I hoped she was alive and made it back to the boys, Frank must of thought she was just a human friend.

"Frank let kate go, it's me you have the problem with, she has done nothing, I promise I will do anything you say" I pleaded

I didn't want anything to happen to kate, she could have the baby anytime now, I don't think I could handle it if I had been the cause of any harm to her or the baby.

"you know I can't do that, she will talk, unless I make it so she is unable to talk, do you want that Polly?" he laughed

" No stop" I screamed

I could hear Kate screaming in pain the guy was smacking her about

"that's enough, for now let's go let them stew on what's to come" Frank said before kicking me in the stomach

I double over in pain, tears came streaming down my face he had kicked me hard, and I could feel a horrible pain, than I felt wet, I put my hand down to the ground and looked it was blood, I screamed out in agony, then I lost all control, my wolf couldn't shift but she was beyond controllable and I ripped the chain of the wall, it obviously wasn't that strong of chain, I ran to Kate she was lying unconscious, I couldn't hold off any longer, I shifted and my wolf took full control.

It was strange, I was like watching my body doing it's own thing, and there was nothing I could do.

I smashed through the door and came face to face with Frank and one other guy, I leapt into the air and Frank shifted, I swiped my paw across his face, and landed behind him, the other guy had also shifted now, I was so mad it didn't matter, I ran at him and jumped on him pinning him, within seconds I sunk my teeth in his neck, I kept pushing my teeth in until his body went limp, as I let go I felt claws in my back, I flipped over and over, abit like a crocodile's death role tying to get Frank off, I managed to grab a piece of his paw in my mouth and I bite as hard as I could, I heard the bones crush and I felt him release his grip just enough for me to gain control, I didn't think of anything else apart from killing him like he had just done to my baby.

I felt him go limb and I stopped, everywhere was covered in blood, I made it back to Kate and laid beside her nobody was ever going hurt us again.

I let out two long howls, hoping Stuart was near enough to hear me, I tried shifting back but I couldn't, my wolf still had most control and she obviously felt the need to stay in protection mode.

I kept nudging at Kate, but she didn't respond, I was worried, I couldn't lose her as well.

It seemed like I was lying there in that smelly room for hours before I finally hear howls getting closer, I couldn't take the risk of leaving kate, what if it wasn't Stuart, so I went it back to protection mode

As soon as I heard the door starting to open I started snarling, I stood protectively over Kate, nobody was getting passed me.

The door opened and I lept forward then suddenly the smell hit me, freshly cut grass I knew it was Stuart, I managed to stop myself just before I clawed him.

"oh my god Polly what the hell happen?" Stuart said rushing to me

Rick went running over to Kate I turned and growled at him, he stopped and stared at me afraid to move incase I attacked him,

"Polly it's ok your safe now, let Rick go to Kate she needs him" Stuart said stroking my fur trying to calm me

I turned back to my mate and hung my head low

"Polly you need to shift back, you are safe, I need to know what happened, my father is dead" he said

He thinks I don't know his father's dead, I tried concentrating on be human again, I could feel my bones staring to change it hurt really hurt I was fighting my wolf.

I cried out in pain, next thing I was naked on the floor, Stuart quickly removed his shirt and covered me, I didn't move I just laid there sobbing, mourning my loss for the first time, my wedding day had turned into the worst day of my life.

Stuart tried to hug me, but I flinched and moved away, I couldn't have him touch me, I had allowed someone to kill our baby, how was Stuart ever going to forgive me for that.

"Polly please talk to me, what did he do to you?" Stuart asked

I just stared at him and starting crying again

I heared Rick talking to Stuart

"she's alive but we need to get her to the pack doctor soon" he said

I was relieved Kate was alive

"Polly we need to leave, you both need to see the doctor" Stuart said edging closer to me

I allowed him to lift me up and carry me outside, as the light hit me I buried my head into Stuart's chest, the light hurt after being couped up in that place.

Stuart and Rick carried me and kate back to the pack house, every move made me double over in pain, it seemed to be taking forever and I eventually passed out

I woke up to the smell of fresh sheets and I was lying on a comfortable bed, I could of almost believed it was a dream until I felt the pain, then everything came rushing back, I held me stomach and wept.

The door burst open and Stuart pulled me to him holding me close so I couldn't get away

"I'm sorry" was all I could say

"no I'm sorry I should of killed him when I had a chance, none of this is your fault Polly" he said

"but I couldn't stop him killing our baby" I screamed

"It wasn't you fault Polly, and you saved Kate's life" stuart said

Kate I had forgotten her

"how is she?" I asked

"dr has sedated her, she is in a bad way but plenty of rest she should be fine," he said before pausing

"what is it? what are you not telling me?" I shouted

"Polly they had to deliver the baby, Kate had a baby girl, she is doing fine, I'm sorry I didn't know if I should say after everything" Stuart said

I could see he was hurting, he hadn't known I was pregnant, so it must of broken him when the dr told him I'd lost the baby

"Stuart I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I was going to surprise you at the wedding" I said

"shh not now you need to rest" he said pulling me onto his chest

I feel asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
