My special surprise for Polly

I couldn't believe what my dad was saying there was no way I could believe Polly would be involved with Jenny being taken, I know she hasn't been around much the last couple of days, but that was because of what was happening with Libby, and I didn't want to be an over protective mate I want to have trust between us.

I wanted to make up for spending all my time looking for Jenny so I'm going to surprise her with a picnic lunch at the waterfall tomorrow, I would make it special like our first date before all this mess.

As I slammed the office door I could smell Polly, I went searching for her she was the only one who could calm my wolf at the moment, I found her hiding in the cupboard under the stairs

" Polly what are you doing?" I asked

" umm I wanted to surprised you" she said kissing my cheek, instantly I felt calm and didn't push to find the real reason she was hiding.

"Polly you know I love you don't you? sorry about everything that's happen, I want to spend the day with you tomorrow just the two of us I've something special planned, I want to take you to the waterfall about 11.30" I said, I saw a smile on her face

" cause I can, I'm sorry to I've been with Libby when I should of been here supporting you, but she needed me Stuart" Polly said looking guilty

" don't worry Polly I understand, I think your going to make a great luna the way you care about others" I said

I turned towards my father's office I thought I heard the door close, now I was started to think my father was listening in on my conversion, god I needed to get out.

"why don't we go for a run, don't know about you but my wolf is sure missing yours" I said to Polly

" sure we miss you two too" she laughed.

We headed out to the forest and shifted so our wolves could run, I chased Polly around in and out the trees, for the first time in days I felt relaxed and it was down to Polly, my father was definitely wrong my wolf would know if Polly was betraying us, plus I trusted her a hundred percent and I was going to prove it tomorrow with a little extra surprise.

I needed to go to the mall to pick up what I had got polly

" let's head back i need to pop out maybe you should check up on Libby" I said through our mind link I could feel her disappointment but she nodded in agreement.

I left her on the phone to Libby by the sounds of it she had worked things out with Alex.

I arrived at the jewellers just before it closed the gift was prefect I just hope Polly would agree.

After supper me and Polly spent the evening watching movies and doing a few extra activities if you know what I mean! it was heaven just me and her the way it should be I fell asleep with her wrapped around me.

I woke early and went down to the kitchen, mum was up already cooking breakfast for the pack, I had so much respect for my mum she was an amazing lady.

" hey mum I'm going to go out to the waterfall and set the picnic up can you distract Polly if she starts asking questions" I asked

I had told mum my plans and she was happy, I hadn't told my father especially after the conversation we had yesterday, I wanted to prove to him he was wrong.

I set out a blanket and spread rose petals around the area, I wanted everything to be just right this was going to be the most important day of my life after all.

everything was ready I had laid the picnic out, the champagne was on ice now all I needed was Polly.

I headed back to the house it was eleven so it gave me time to change.

"Polly you ready?" I shouted

" yeah just coming" she said

she walked down the stairs towards me I couldn't help but stare, she looked amazing she had a summer dress on which came to the knee, it was a yellow colour with white daisies on it.

" you look great" I comment

she blushed "thanks you don't look so bad yourself"

"come on let's go" I said grabbing her hand I headed of to the woods

" close your eyes" I said as we approched the waterfall

I walked her over to the blanket

"right open" I said

" Stuart it's beautiful" she said wrapping her arms around me and pulling me down for a kiss, I kissed her back. I pulled back after a few moment I wanted this to be special not just sex.

" hey shall we eat or swim first" I said

"let's swim" she said stripping down to her underwear and running towards the lake. We mucked around dunking each other and racing back and forth before we eventually got out to eat. It was just before twelve, now was my time, I was just about to reach into my pocket when my dad mind link me

"son meet me about a hundred yards into the trees I have something to tell you, but I don't want Polly to hear, I don't want to spoil you surprise" he said

I was guessing my mum had told him my plan, I hope he wasn't going to try and talk me out of it.

" ok I'll be right there" I mind linked back.

"Polly dad wants to see me quick I'll be right back promise" I said

I headed to the trees and started to make my way forward when I suddenly smelt rogues, I felt my fathers hand on my shoulder

"get down son I smelt them too I've called for back up" my father said

" dad Polly's out there" I said trying to pull out of his grip why wasn't he letting me go

I managed to spin round and I was shocked this couldn't be right

"Polly what are you doing" I shouted out.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing how could she, my father was right Polly had betrayed us, she was walking along next to this rogue not even struggling, she didn't even look round at me, how could she do this? she was my mate and I was going to ask her to marry me!! my wolf was going crazy I had to go, I shifted and ran and ran I didn't know where I was going and I didn't care, I was nothing without my mate.
