Amnesia

Tony Stark

it'd been five years since Tony had left. five years since anyone had seen him. he and Steve had been in a huge argument about something and eventually all the Avengers had joined in and taken Steve's side on whatever it was, except Bruce who had been out of town, and Tony had gone for a drive. they'd waited three days for him to come back before realizing something was wrong. no one could get a hold of him, not even Jarvis. SHIELD couldn't locate him, not even with all their man power. the police couldn't find him, even though it'd seemed the entire planet was searching for him, no one could find him. he was gone. he'd dropped off the planet of the Earth. the Avengers had searched for him for weeks. he'd been presumed dead. so when SHIELD reported they'd found him in some third country looking like a homeless man and had brought him in, they all raced to the SHIELD emergency room.

"where do you think he's been all this time?" Steve ask.

"why didn't he come back?" Clint ask.

"do you think he's still mad over that stupid argument?" Natasha ask.

"Tony loves his lab and being Ironman. he wouldn't have just given both up without a reason." Bruce replied, pushing his glasses up his nose. they met Phil outside Tony's room.

"heads up, they found a Hydra symbol burned into his arm. he's had some severe head trauma, so even if they didn't use him like the Winter Soldier, he's probably done somethings. he's got severe amnesia. he doesn't know who he is, but we're setting up a way to work with him." Phil said.

"this is going to sound bad, but does he still have a genius brain?" Bruce ask.

"from what we could tell yes." Phil replied. Bruce nodded.

"when he's better enough, I'd like to take him to Avengers tower so he can see the labs and his room. it might help." Bruce said. Phil nodded.

"I'll talk to the doctors." Phil said. Bruce nodded.

"has he been hostile or anything?" Steve ask. Phil shook his head.

"no he's been pretty at ease. even if he doesn't remember us, some part of him is telling him not to freak out, so he does clearly remember at least a little, but he does need a new arc. his has barley been working." Phil said. Bruce held up a small case.

"I know they ask me to bring it." Bruce replied. Phil nodded and finally opened the door for them to walk in. Tony looked over at them immediately.

"oh hey it's Agent Coulson again." Tony waived.

"it's Phil, Tony. call me Phil." Phil replied with a sigh. Tony grinned.

"I like Agent Coulson better." Tony said.

"he still has parts of his personality." Phil muttered. "Tony this is Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton." Phil said, pointing each out.

"Thor couldn't be here with us, but you'll get to meet him later." Steve said. Tony narrowed his eye's at Steve.

"I don't like you." Tony said.

"well thats a start." Steve chuckled. Tony ignored him.

"hey whats that?" Tony ask, pointing to the object in Bruce's hand.

"this is an arc reactor. you built it. it's like the thing in your chest, this is going to replace that since I've been told yours isn't working so well." Bruce said. Tony nodded as Bruce walked over to change it out. "alright shirt off." Bruce said. Tony did so with out complaining, but made a sexual comment towards Bruce, who snorted but other wise ignored it. he changed the arcs out quickly and stepped back, wiping his hand off on his shirt. Tony sat up and looked at the Natasha and Clint.
