Every year I saw all these couple around me, Showing their love on this one special and lovely day.
Every couple in this world planned a perfect date, But for me, just spending time with you in my dream was already a perfect valentine for me.
So many gifts were given to their loved ones, Chocolates and roses as a symbol of love and sweetness, But, just a hug and kisses from you already made my valentine perfect and memorable.
I heard cheesy pick up lines as I walked down the hallway, It reminded me of you, Every jokes and silly things you did, Brightening my whole day.
I heard romantic poems everywhere I went, But those three magical words coming from your mouth, Already lifting me up to the clouds.
Everywhere I went, it seemed like it was a romance movie or novels with romantic scenes playing in front of my eyes, But those can't even compare with what we had in our dreams, It was more than the cliche scenes or a fairytale.
Melodious romantic songs playing on repeat, But all I ever wanted to listen to was the sound of your heartbeats while you held me closer to you, And, I wanted to listen to your beautiful voice serenading me lullabies, serenading me to sleep so I can meet you in my dreams.
A lot of people confessed their feelings, Love was spreading through the sweet air of valentine, But all I ever longed for was your love.
