together the 5sos boys had decided to stop touring and take a break to focus on their upcoming album and their mental health as it was well needed.

ashton was feeling a lot better, he had been clean for 7 months and he wasn't feeling nearly as suicidal every day. luke was also doing a lot better. he was eating 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. they were small but he was still eating them. he was back to a healthy weight for his height which at first he was very angry about but he soon got used to, not thinking he was too skinny or too fat.

michael and calum both found girlfriends and they were spending a lot more time with them instead of the other two which they didn't mind, it gave them more alone time which ashton and luke loved.

ashton was sitting on the couch next to luke both mindlessly scrolling through their phones. ashton was looking at his and lukes old conversations

"so you're a big fan of 5 seconds of summer yeah?" ashton said smiling at luke

"what?" luke said looking down at ashton's phone. luke smiled at the beginning of their online conversation

"i love you so much ash" luke said grabbing ashton's hand and squeezing it

"i love you too luke"

the boys each had bought houses in los angeles which was a change for them but it was nice to have something. they all lived pretty close together and luke and ashton were almost always together.

ashton got up from their couch and walked into his bedroom. him and luke were at ashton's, they'd been debating moving in together but that meant packing and selling a house which jusy seemed like a lot of work that neither really wanted to do. he laid down on his bed and slowly luke trailed behind him, cuddling into his chest

"you alright?" luke asked looking up at ashton who nodded and wrapped his arms around luke before falling asleep
