First Kiss

(Luna's POV)

The rest of the week I decided to get to know the group more. I kept an eye on all of there behavior to know there strengths and weaknesses. Grizzly is a kind yet tough teen. James was quick and (somewhat up and the clouds). Jake was strict and stern. He was also overprotective about Destiny. On the other hand, Destiny was sweet and caring and easygoing. Ronnie was cheerful and overly jokish. Luke was sly but kind. I enjoyed talking to him the most. When he was around my heart danced. I walked home, laying down in my bed and falling asleep.

I woke up to an alarm and slammed the clock so it shut off. It fell onto my floor and I sighed, sitting up. Wait a minute, it's Saturday! I glared at the clock on the floor. I yawned again and sat up.

After a while I put on my jacket and I was met by accidentally slamming the door into Luke. "Oh my god I'm SO sorry!"

"I thought it opened the other way," he grumbled. I giggled and helped him up. He rubbed his head and smiled sweetly. "I was wondering if you would like to go for a walk."

I smiled back, "Yes I would! Any day!" He beamed back at me and reached his hand out for mine. I took it happily. He beamed as he lead me to the clearing where there were flowers blooming. The smell of pollen filled the air and I sighed, I looked up to see Luke watching me sweetly. I leaned against him and closed my eyes.

We stood like that for a while before I took my head off of him, looking up at him. "I should get back," I said in my sweetest tone. He nodded slowly. When I turned he grabbed my shoulder and spun me around and grabbed my waist and kissed me. I felt like life was closing in on us, making us the most powerful people in the universe.

"LUKE!!!!" Someone shouted, he pulled away looking behind me. I spun around to see Destiny.

"I-I can explain," I sputtered but Destiny's eyes seem to get more unreadable.

"No you can't. But he can," she glared at Luke.

"I-I," Luke sputtered before looking at me with a worry full look. "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking."

"Yea, you weren't. Do you know what you've done???" I looked at the both of them in confusion and slight horror. Destiny looked at me and her eyes went a little softer. "Do you feel fine?"

I nodded.

"Dizzy?" She asked softly. Just as she asked I felt my world spin. My head began to hurt. I nodded and I felt Luke's hand around my hips. I looked up at him as the blur began to increase. He looked down at me and his eyes were sweet and kind. I tried to focus but it seemed to make it worse. I felt as if I was getting smaller, the world around me getting smaller. The next thing I knew I felt a large hand holding me from falling before I passed out.

(Luke's POV)

"I-I'm sorry," I said as I clutched the small unconscious body in my hands. I looked up to see Destiny staring at him in disbelief.

"The species once lost. A kiss shall give it life once more," Destiny said as she stared at Luna. I looked down to realize she was a four legged reptile with wings. Dragon? I looked back up at Destiny for an answer but I was met with silence. I stood there for a while before a voice sounded behind me.

"I found them!" I heard Jake and Destiny looked at him, still in shock. I turned around and Jake froze, staring at Luna. He glanced at Destiny with a questioning look and she paused.

"Luna?" Jake asked suddenly, his voice so soft it surprised me. Destiny nodded. Jake stared at me with hatred now. "Do you know you did?" I nodded, knowing the answer. "You might have just killed her."
