(Luke's POV)
I looked the man up and down and realized without a doubt that this was Luna's father. He had dirty blond hair like Luna's and also the same twinkle in his hazel eyes. He wore a black tuxedo complete with a tie. I barely had time to realize he was staring at Luna, not anyone else.

"Look what your hell hole did to me," Luna half hissed, her arm oozing with blood.

"Oh my, I really can only heal the deepest wound, the rest will heal quickly though." He waved his hand and Luna gasped before looking down to the slowly mending arm.

"Now, what have you actually came here for?"

"Abilities, I need one more."

"Oh. You do?"

"Yes I do father. You do want me to be happy, don't you?"

"Yes. I would like you to be happy. But remember there is payment."

Luna nodded, "I want mind reading."

Her father smiled, "it can be done. Now to the payment. You and your friends must stay your original animal for a whole week in the real world or Earth."

My whole body froze. Destiny had to stay a deer, that wasn't very safe. I also had to stay a panther and Luna a dragon. I sighed. Before we could talk I heard Luna draw in a deep breath.

"You're asking me to risk my life, and my friends life."

"I'll make it three days, is that more safe?"

Luna looked at us for an answer and I just nodded, I realized Destiny must have nodded as well because she turned back around. "We accept."

"Very well. I bless you, Luna, with the power to read minds only if you and your friends you have here stay an animal for a full three days."

I felt like I was being sucked it and then all of a sudden we were back in the forest, I was already a panther. I looked around. Where was Luna? And Destiny is gone! Where are they!?!?

I felt scales on my head and I looked up, seeing a small black dragon smiling down at me. Luna's eyes radiated excitement but I barely thought of it before I saw a deer walk out of the woods into the clearing. My tail swayed and once I realized the cat like flirt I immediately stopped.

You save that for Luna! The voice in my head demanded. I liked that thought and we found a small cave away from the other one, setting up in silence a small shelter. The other two fell asleep in the cave but I laid next to Luna, keeping watch.

I saw something in the bush move. My whole body tensed with protection.

"Luke?" James voice echoed as he appeared from behind the brush. Relief flooded through my veins. He seemed to understand. He was about to say something but he stopped, seeing Luna and Destiny were asleep. I put my paw up to my mouth and made a shooing motion and he understood, disappearing behind the brush. I smiled and fell asleep.

-2 Days Later-

(Luna's POV)

She's beautiful. Wonderful. I love her so much. I yawned and stretched, tossing the weird voice out of my thought process. For a moment I tried to open my wings but then I realized I was  human again. I sighed in relief.

"Morning sleepyhead," Luke's voice warmed me to the bone. I smiled up at him.

"Alright you two, time to go back home," Destiny's voice forced me to get up. I yawned once again.

I wish Jake was here. I froze. Did I just think that? I shook my head. I looked back at Destiny. I followed them both, but now seeing there love, I miss my own more. I could barely breathe. I read her mind! I felt Luke's hand on my shoulder and I smiled, not looking at him but walking forward still.
