Blake's pov

My parents are not in my mind right now, they will not ruin Newyork for me. So I just arrived in Newyork like 5 hours age and getting to my assigned dorm room I find it occupied, by a fucking athlete and I have no space so now I am making my way to the admission office to give them a piece of my mind. I did not sleep at all and when I arrive I have no room? Just what I needed after yesterday.

"Can I help you? The lady at the reception asked.

Be polite, be polite its not her fault you were disowned its your fault "yes please, i would like to know why my room is occupied by a giant boy with a thousand  lucrose balls and those things they play with?"

"Which room is it?

" 403" i said as she started typing in her computer, am not sure people use them nowadays even In my town folks had laptops.

"Sorry sir but you dont have a room, most of the rooms belonging to photography  students with scholarships were given to student who have sports scholarships." Just my fucking luck, great, am in Newyork, I dont know anyone, I have no place to stay and its noon and am hungry, I dont even know where I'll find a place to eat let alone stay. Am sure my parent's had sth to do with this.

"Are there spare rooms I can get?"

"All are full" she is starting to irritate me.

"Then do you know where I can find a cheap apartment?"

"No,"

What? Who the hell is she she can't even help a student in need? Then what is she doing in this office then? Nkt. Yes I have clicked at you biatch can't you see how tired I am, I give her my dads glare as I walked away. I guess ill have to put all my times square plans away for later after I settle.

I went to the school's noticeboard and saw a poster for a roommate needed, and the rent was not even that much. I called the number on it.

"Hello"

"Who is it?" A male voice asked on the other side.

"Ummm, I saw the post of you needing a roommate and I wanted to check it out if am not too late,"

"What course are you doing?" He asked

"Photography,"

"Great you've got the room, when do you want to move in?"

"What?" Who gives a room just to anyone and he doesn't even know me what if am a murderer, or serial killer or a rapist not that I am any of those, just saying. 

"I said you got the apartment when are you moving in?"

"Oh, ummm is now okay?" There was a brief pause on the other side and a bit of whispering, what if they were the serial killer rapists? Yeah am being paranoid of course.

"Yes now is okay, walk down to the left side after leaving campus gate and walk to the third building painted blue then take the lift up to 2nd floor room 16."

"Okay,"

"Wait before you hang up do you have any furniture you want help with?"

"No, just a suitcase and a bag." I said hanging up. I walked as per his instructions till I found the building. It was quite unique actually, compared to all other buildings it was painted blue and had glass doors, I wonder why the rent is not that much, not forgetting the elevator. I walked to the elevator and it took me to the second floor and immediately saw the apartment since it was right direct after coming out if the elevator.
