Chris' piercing green eyes find me first and he freezes. He freezes with his hands still down Yuuri's jeans.

"Victor" Yuuri gasps. Pushing Chris down and tumbling off the counter.

Yuuri opens his mouth. I don't stay to hear him speak, slamming the door behind me before sprinting down the stairs and stumbling into the lobby.

The lobby isnt straight, it tips sideways as I catch my breath.

I hear loud struggling breaths, like a man drowning.

"Victor" I spin to see him there. Yuuri.

"You don't feel the same... why couldn't you just tell me that? Why did you have to do that?" I go down to a whisper, a whine, my eyes glaze over.

"No Victor I do! I love you so much it terrifies me!" He hesitates on the last step, unfair levels of distress on his face.

"You really are fucked up! What the fuck are you doing to me!?"

He looks at me like I've punched him.

He's run me over with a truck.

"I've been trying so hard not to love you"

"I thought hooking up with Chris would help me forget and it didn't" he shakes his head, tears running down his pale cheeks. He don't diserve to be sad. It's my heart he has broken.

"You looked like you were enjoying yourself!"

"I-"

"I never thought you'd go so low. We all see you so highly and you go do this! All you needed to do was tell me you didn't feel the same! That's all you had to do! Then you can fuck Chris all you want!"

Jewel was wrong.

"I can't commit I- I..." his throat catches every time he tries to speak and before I even know what's happening he keels over, tripping down the step and crumbling on the floor like a doll.
