It had been a whole year since Ellen first started her training, and she was a lot better. She no longer suffered from the nightmares, and on the rare occasion that she did, she used the skills that she had been taught by her therapist to control them. She no longer had the crippling headaches that prevented her from doing the things that she loved, and she was living a full and healthy life with the man and child whom she loved so dearly.

Her therapist was called Dr Hobson, and he was the main reason that Ellen had been able to learn the skills, for he was an excellent teacher. He didn’t get on well with Kian however. Partly because Kian threatened him because he was getting a bit too friendly with his wife and the fact that Dr Hobson hadn’t stopped insulting Westlife since Ellen started at the clinic. They wound each other up so much that Kian was made to sit in the waiting room to prevent any arguments. They were on their way to Ellen’s last professional appointment, and the pair were ecstatic. Koa was sitting in the back of the car, and had no clue as to why they kept going into this mysterious building, where his mother would disappear for what felt like a lifetime, only for her to come out even happier than when she first went in.

This time, as it was the last time, Kian and Koa were allowed in the medical room, by Ellen’s wishes. Dr Hobson wasn’t happy about it, and Kian knew that he was jealous of what the three of them had together. Koa sat silently listening to every word that the doctor said, even though he didn’t understand it. There were so many scientific words that he had never heard of and he was confused. Kian had Koa on his lap, and was listening intently as well. The doctor said that she was fine, now, and they no longer needed to seek his help, unless they felt that it was necessary. Ellen insisted that she was fine, and they were about to leave when Dr Hobson asked if he could have a private word with Ellen. Kian said that he would meet her in the car, as Koa was getting restless.

Ellen sat back down in her chair and Dr Hobson sat next to her, where Kian was previously sat.

“What did to want to speak to me about Dr Hobson?”

“Please, call me James. I wanted to speak to you about our professional relationship”

“Oh, what like an opinion on your treatment?”

“Sort of, but it is unofficial, and it is just between you and me”

“Okay, ask away” He came a little closer, and asked Ellen what she thought were routine questions. Then he shocked Ellen by telling her that he wanted their relationship to be more than professional, and he moved in for a kiss. Ellen wasn’t tempted one bit, and instead of telling him that she didn’t want him, she showed him that she didn’t want him. She stood up from her chair and so did James. He moved in again, and Ellen punched him on the nose, so hard that he flew back into his chair and was bleeding rather a lot. Ellen composed herself and said:

“That is my opinion on our ‘professional relationship’”

“But, I always get what I want”

“Well not this time sunshine, and if you want my medical opinion, I would get that seen to”

“Will you clean it up for me?”

“Do you want me to get my husband in here to help you get a new shade of red all over your face, or do you want to quit now why you have no dignity, because if he comes in, you will get more than a punch in the face, and that is a promise”

Ellen walked out the door and stepped into the waiting room. There were comment cards on the counter, and Ellen thought that it seemed fitting to fill one out. She wrote the doctors name and the following:

‘Doctor Hobson is a pervert that deserves to lose his job. He tried to kiss a happily married woman and wouldn’t give up until I punched him in the face’
