Third Person POV:
"WHERE IS HE?! WHERE IS HE?! WHERE IS MY SON?!"
In he came. Rushing in. The air around him reeked of alcohol and sorrow. A feeling Sebastian was familiar with. He noticed the bags under his eyes and the unsteadiness in his walk. He was so used to it. But, they weren't. And he didn't want to them to be. This was the last sight he wanted anyone seeing. Even himself, but he didn't always get what he wanted.
He stopped, in the center of the room. Settling himself to stare at Sebastian, who was still sitting on the bed, Barry was now standing, confused and concerned. Like everyone else. Sebastian held himself as calm, more or so emotionless. But inside, he was screaming and tearing away at his mind.
"There you are." He whispered, squinting his eyes at Sebastian. Sebastian swallowed a lump in his throat he didn't know had formed. Everyone just watched, nothing else. They were frozen. And perhaps so was Sebastian.
"Please..." Sebastian whispered, "Please Dad." Sebastian pleaded. He noticed the wince on some of their faces once the word 'Dad' popped off his mouth.
"NO! I don't want your damn excuses!" His Dad threw his arm in the air, almost falling over, "You're coming home with me right now!" He yelled.
He walked over to Sebastian and grabbed his wrist. Sebastian winced in pain as a tight grip formed around an already harmed skin. He pulled Sebastian to his feet and started to walk away but Sebastian stopped. His Dad let go, stopping and turning around to Sebastian. Betrayal and hatred painted across his face.
"What do you think you're doing?" His Dad yelled at him.
"No." Sebastian said. Washing away all fears he once had. He had had enough of this.
"'No'? No?" His Dad furrowed his brow in anger.
"I said no. Need me to say it again? No." Sebastian said back. His Father taken aback from his attitude.
His Dad stared at him. He was never like this. He wasn't used to this behavior. The next thing Sebastian knew, there was a stinging sensation across his face. His Dad's skin of hand came in contact with his face. Sebastian's head moved to the side and he immediately went to grab the wound. Everyone rushed over to him, making sure he was Ok. But Sebastian just weakly pushed them off. Wiping the pain away and looking back at his Dad.
"You don't ever talk to me like that boy, you hear?" His Dad said.
"And why not? Because you know that I don't have to listen to you? That you're losing power over me?" Sebastian flared his eyes with fire like his soul.
"You sure as hell have to listen to me. I am the Dad, you are the Son. I have done everything for you, you repay me with respect." His Dad seemed to be sobering up from the anger.
"Everything? For me? What have you done for me besides ruin my own self worth?" Sebastian yelled back.
"I gave you a home! Clothes! Food! What else could you ask for?" He yelled.
"Love." Sebastian said. Quieter. His Dad went silent. Not expecting that.
"Is all of that not love?" His Dad argued.
"No. All of that is wealth you had left over that Mom forced you to use on me. Love is hugging someone. Physical contact shows love." Sebastian stated.
"We've physically contacted." His Dad argued.
"Yeah, your fist to my face. What the hell kind of love is that?" Sebastian said back, "Yeah, you might be the reason I'm alive. You might be my 'Dad'. But you will only ever be nothing more than a man who makes up half my genes to me. Nothing more. You're not a Father. At least not mine. You are nothing but regret and mistakes. You will never mean anything to me." Sebastian's voice full of sorrow and pain. He felt his eyes threaten with tear but they wouldn't fall. He kept them held back.
Sebastian's Dad went silent. No one, not even himself, knew if he was regretting what he had done or embarrassed by the truth. Everything was spinning but perhaps that was the intoxication. But his Dad wouldn't stay there any longer. He simply huffed out in exhaustion and turned around, walking out the door and out of sight. Sebastian silently hoped that this moment would be the last time he saw his Dad. Maybe it would be, but Sebastian didn't know anything in that moment. His thoughts too jumbled his mind too broken.
He turned around, facing all the people around him. There were so many of them. Only a few, but he felt crowded. He felt closed in, like he was blocked. His vision blurred with water as the tears came close to falling. He didn't even notice his open mouth and labored breathing until it was too late. His head started to spin and his body went limp. His vision blurring and fading to nothingness as he fell to the floor. All he could hear was the muffled sound of the people around him. Muffled. Like they were underwater. Like he was drowning.
I know there's lots of spelling mistakes, so please just bare with me and try to understand this XD Also, I think the next chapter may be the last one, so be prepared. But then again, it might not. IDK boi
