Chapter 12: What Happened Next

[ "Mum, what happened next?" Alex asked, picking at his half-eaten baked Potato.

"Well.. Maybe we'd continue the story if we had help cleaning up.." I sighed, picking up a few plates, looking wistfully back at the table.

Alex and the twins jumped up, Alex piling the rest of the plates as Tyler carefully took the few plates from me and hurried toward the sink. Finn, meanwhile, pulled a footstool up against the sink and armed himself with a sponge and dish soap.

Macie and Kate giggled as they watched the silly boys eagerly helped clear the table.

"Ahem, Macie? Why aren't you helping your brothers?" I asked, clearing my throat as I sat next to Kate.

"Okay, where was I?" I asked, looking over at Kate.

"You just finished the first date." Macie replied, drying a dish with a towel.

"Right, Well.. as soon as I got to the set the next day, your uncles practically pounced on me..."]

"Nialler! How was the big date?" Louis asked, slinging an arm over my shoulder.

"Amazing," I replied, grinning.

"So, tell us about it!" Harry demanded as he prodded me with his elbow.

"Well.. When I got to the door, a pajama clad Jojo greeted me..." as soon as the word Jojo left my lips, Liam's head immediately shot up. I smirked at him as his face turned red and continued my story.

Meanwhile, as I was telling them about last night, your aunt and mother walked it, chattering back and forth. Your uncles noticed them walk in and shared a look with each other, their minds quickly forming a plan. The closer Jojo and Kate got, the more the boys would egg me on.

"She had this incredible idea for the video. You should have seen her when she thought of the idea. Her entire face lit up...It was beautiful." I explained, smiling a little to myself.

"Whoa there loverboy." A voice joked from behind me, causing the boys to laugh. Blushing, I turned around to see a smirking Jojo and your mother, who was as red as I was. Jojo gave us one last smirk before heading over to the beverage table to grab some water.

"Well," Katie mumbled awkwardly before clearing her throat, "Like Niall said, I had an idea for the music video. I was thinking that we could go for a famous romance theme. For each solo, we have a famous romance. Zayn has Romeo and Juliet, Liam has Bonnie and Clyde, Louis has Lancelot and Guinevere, Harry has Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, and Niall has Westley and Princess Buttercup."

"I thought you said I was going to be Romeo?" Niall asked, slightly disappointed.

"Well, I was discussing it with Rob, and He was the one who made the final decision."

"I thought that Zayn would make a better brooding Romeo, and Niall would be a better easygoing Westley." Rob interupted. "Kate, we have a problem."

"What? What's wrong?" Kate asked, slightly panicking as she looked at the papers on her clipboard.

"We have all the "love interests" except Liam's. We need a Bonnie." Rob explained.

"Well, what about Jojo?" Liam suggested.

Everyone turned to look at Jojo, who was taking a sip of water and suddenly started coughing.

"What?" She managed to choke out, looking alarmed.

"Perfect." Kate smirked evilly.
