Chapter 9: You're Looking A Little Parched, Dahling

[During the next few days, your uncles and Aunt Jojo, much to Louis' horror (but Liam's delight), worked together to bring your father and I together. There were many attempts, but they didn't really work. For instance, They switched the bathroom signs on the doors , but that only resulted in a very embarrassed extra and a humilated Rob. But Harry was scheming a plan of his own...]

He got the idea at the snack table, when your father spilled food on himself.

"Ah crap. I got hummus on my shirt." Niall sighed, looking down at the stain on his otherwise pristine white shirt.

"That's why you have to make the little canoe when you eat it." Harry replied, giving him a look and 'correctly' eating his pita bread and hummus.

"Don't tell me how to eat my food, Styles." Niall growled.

"I figured that would happen, there's an extra shirt in the dressing room." replied Lou, the stylist.

"Thanks Lou!" He called as he ran to the dressing room.

Your uncle Harry looked from your father to me, and a huge grin spread across his face. He walked over to where I was discussing ideas wtih Rob, and JoJo was looking at pictures....of cows...

"AWW! KATE! Look at this baby cow!! Cutest. Animal. Ever. I don't see how someone could hate that face. It's got such a quality face."

"Whatever. So I was thinking..." I began to explain.

"Hey! Rob, you look thirsty." Harry interrupted.

"Thanks Harry, But I'm not." Rob replied, "You were saying,Kate?"

"I was thinking.." I began.

"But Rob, you look really thirsty." Harry interrupted, yet again.

"Harry, I'm not."

"Are you sure?" Harry questioned, looking a little concerned.

"Yes."

"Are you absolutely sure?" Harry asked again.

"Fine. I guess I could go for a bottle of water." Rob sighed.

"Great! Kate, could you go get it?" Harry asked sweetly, giving me a smile that exaggerated his dimples.

I began walking to the snack table, where there was little water bottles, when Harry said "Wait! There are cold water bottles in our dressing rooms! Help yourself to them!"

"Got it!" I replied, looking back and seeing Harry wink and give a thumbs up at a confused JoJo. I shook my head and continued walking to the dressing room. When I got there, I pushed open a door to see a surprised Niall. Your father had a deer in the headlights look, and he was holding a clean shirt to his chest. We looked at each other for a few seconds and there was this awful awkward silence as your father slowly put his shirt on.

"Uh.. Hey Kate...Whatcha doin' here?" he asked awkwardly.

"Umm.. Harry said that there were cold water bottles in here..." I said quietly.

"..Harry..." He growled. "It's in that mini fridge in the corner." He gestured to the small white fridge.

I grabbed two little bottles, turned around, giving Niall a small smile and said "As you were."

"Hey, wait for me? We can walk back out together." He offered with a warm smile.

"Sure."

***Few minutes later***

Harry spotted us a few minutes later, as we walked out of the dressing room laughing and talking, and he tapped JoJo on the shoulder and pointed. She gasped and threw a pillow at Louis, who turned and glared at her. When she gestured at us, however, his face lit up. Then Louis pointed out our entrance to Liam and Zayn.

"Hey Guys! Rob, here's your water." I said cheerfully. Harry caught your Father's eye and waggled his eyebrows. Niall rolled his eyes at him and flipped him off. The three other boys walked over, trying to hide their laughter.

"Thanks Kate." He replied, "Before you go, Harry had an interesting idea. What if Niall were the main focus for this video?"

"Hmm. It sounds interesting.. But I don't think the other boys would agree to it though.."

"Actually, we agreed that Niall would be the main guy and he's not that great of an actor. So I think that you two should get together and discuss his motives and characterization so that this video could reach it's full potential." Zayn explained

"I find that the creative atmosphere for a candelight dinner really helps with developing a character." JoJo added, ginning from ear to ear.

"You know, you two should totally do that." Louis said slyly.

"You should probably do it tonight, because we have only so much time." Harry said nonchalantly.

"What do you think Kate?" Rob said, nodding. "it sounds like a good idea."

"Um, sure. If Niall is okay with it.."

"YES! Um. Is 7 alright with you?" He asked eagerly.

"It's a date." I replied, smiling at him and walking to my car.
