"What're you smiling at A?" Fleming wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, "Did lover boy send you something?"
"Oh shush, he's just replying to me because I sent him a letter first" Alexandrina folded up the yellow piece before realizing what she was implying, "Wait! Not that I sent him any love letter in the first place okay"
Fleming only winked at her before walking out the dorm, no doubt to meet Fred.
"Toerag"
Alexandrina watched her friend walk down the stairs, before taking the folded paper in her hands and putting it in a little pocket in her suitcase.
As she walked down the stairs, her hair bounced as she skipped down into the common room, where she was met with a group of seventh year boys whispering to each other loudly. But as they saw her walk by, they stopped their whispering and started to call her name, however, as she ignored every call she felt herself become immobile. No doubt being hit by a charm.
"We were calling you Alexandrina, did you not hear us?" One of them spoke up as he forcefully spun her around so she faced him. "Or are you too stupid for that"
"She probably can't hear anymore since she's always so busy reading those muggle books"
"No I did hear" Alexandrina squinted at them, her fists balling against her sides holding back from freeing herself from their rather weak spell, "I just don't acknowledge things that don't matter"
"You filthy blood traitor, you're a disgrace to the Slytherin household" she watched his nostrils flare, and she grinned at his over dramatic reaction, "No wonder no Slytherin likes you, you're just as bad as those Hufflepuff mudbloods"
At that Alexandrina decided that she was done being patient and snapped, whispering a quick spell to free herself from their 'Immobulus' charm, before she pulled her wand up and shot the boy in front of her with a silent 'Petrificus Totalus'. A rather worthy punishment if you asked her.
"Don't you dare talk about anybody like that ever again you worthless gits!" Alexandrina threatened as the boys in front of her stepped back slightly, in fear and awe at the witch in front of them. "Come near me again and I'll do more than bloody freeze you"
And with that she continued walking out of the Common Room doors, having no idea that a certain platinum blonde boy saw everything she had just done.

Alexandrina chatted animatedly about the events that just happened previously and Cedric listened patiently next to her, as they walked towards the library. He took in every single word she spoke, and only contributed when she paused. He was entranced as her words flew out like silk, and her eyes crinkled like parchment. She was his greatest distraction.
"I tried so hard not to explode, but those bumbling toerags just got me so angry I couldn't help myself" Cedric laughed as she whispered across from him, the two now sitting at an empty table in the farthest corner of the library. "I bloody showed them not to mess with me though, those blistering foul gits"
