The days after Cedric and Alexandrina's time at Hogsmeade and Qudditch was pure euphoria.

Cedric was smiling constantly through classes, and Alexandrina had a new bounce in her step, her mind and heart light with giddiness.

Darcy and Fleming watched with smirks on their faces when Alexandrina and Cedric walked into the Great Hall both of them laughing, and brushing their shoulders against each other.

"You reckon they've snogged yet?" Fleming asked Darcy as they watched the pair talk quietly to themselves, before Cedric bid Alexandrina goodbye.

"I think Alex would have told us if they did, unlike you Fleming"

"You know I wanted to ma-"

"What's unlike Fleming?" Alexandrina asked before taking a seat on the opposite side of the two girls.

"We were talking about if you've jumped Cedric yet-but from the way your face is looking I'll take that as a no" Fleming snickered as Darcy swatted her arm. "Wait, did you guys even make it official yet?"

"Flems, I don't want to stress him out right now with relationships and all" Alexandrina grabbed a slice of toast, "Besides, we have all the time in the world for that next year"

"And you never answered my question Fleming! What's unlike you-or well me" Alexandrina stared at her friend wide eyed as she munched on her toast.

"Fleming never told us about her first kiss with Fred, I found out the hard way, when I walked in on them snogging behind a tree near the Black Lake!" Darcy gaped, as Fleming laughed at her mortified friends.

"What! You never told me any of this!"

"Well you didn't tell us you went on a date with Cedric either!"

"It wasn't a date Fleming!"

"Yes it was!"

"No it really wasn't!"

"It so was a date" Fred's voice popped up behind Alexandrina. Before he went around and sat next to Fleming, before his other half came and sat next to Alexandrina. The twins, since the Yule ball, started joining the three girls early in the Great Hall for breakfast, and Alexandrina had to admit, having them around was loads of fun even if Darcy and Alexandrina were now targets of their pranks as well.

"Oh god not you too" Alexandrina slammed her head on the wooden table, and the sound of impact echoed through the Great Hall. The eyes of what few people were there turned to them, the younger year Slytherins at the other end of the table giving dirty looks, knowing they weren't allowed to say anything rude to their prefect. "Sorry"

"Anyway, we didn't come here to chit chat or worry about your head" Fred spoke up after a while of the five of them chattering about school, Qudditch, and Alexandrina's all of a sudden interesting love life."We're on a mission ladies"
