Chapter 3

"Tyran, are you there?" said Ellen in her mind trying to contact Tyran. "Hmmph.. yes Princess I can hear you", responded Tyran through his mind. "Did you see this girl Sakina the slave today?" asked Ellen. "We both saw her princess", replied Tyran. "Idiot I am saying did you see the fingerprints on her neck? and stop blushing you dumbass" said Ellen while smiling to herself. "You can't see me so how can you say I am blushing Princess", replied Tyran angrily. "And for your information, I didn't notice, sorry about that," said Tyran apologetically. "Yes because you were too busy staring at her" giggled Ellen. "But we are missing out on something, don't you think so?", asked Ellen. "Maybe. We'll see about it tomorrow", replied Tyran. Ellen didn't say anything to Tyran anymore.

"Keep an eye on them. We need the Princess anyhow and they should not suspect anything," said Count Draco to his right-hand man Zelf. He nodded and walked away.

Next Morning

Ellen couldn't sleep last night. She felt as if the air was heavy around her. Something was very wrong but she couldn't understand what. During dinner, the blood that was given to her tasted different. Not in a good way but it tasted weird. And this time she noticed a small scratch mark on maid Sakina's hand as well. But she couldn't ask anything as it was not her place.

(Knock knock)

"Who is it?", asked Ellen. "I am Zoey the maid. May I come in Madam?" "Yeah" replied Ellen. "I have brought in your breakfast I hope you like pancakes with honey and H+ blood," said Zoey with a broad smile on her face. "It will do. Where is the maid from last night? What was her name ummmmmmm...Yes, Sakina?", asked Ellen. "She wasn't feeling well since last midnight so she was sent on a leave", replied Zoey with the same wide smile on her face.
"Okay, I will take a shower and then have my breakfast. You may leave.", said Ellen. "Yes, Madam and Master asked for you and Sir to meet him in the Conference room after you are done.", informed Zoey. "Does Tyran know about it?", asked Ellen. Zoey smiled and nodded her head and said "Yes". "Fine by me then" Ellen smiled and replied.
After Zoey left Ellen started thinking what are they playing at...
Then stood up and went for the shower.

After 30 minutes

The food smells good. Ellen finished the food as fast as she could eat, and drank the blood. After being fully satisfied she checked the time and left the room. As soon as she stepped out she saw Tyran coming towards her. She was about to say something when Tyran said her through brain message, "Don't say anything, we are being watched. Act Normal". Ellen did accordingly. "Good Morning Tyran", said Ellen. "Good Morning Princess, let's head towards the conference room," replied Tyran with a smile. "Conference room is this way", Tyran and Ellen looked around and saw a tall and handsome man approaching towards them. "I am Eldon, sorry for startling you like this. Father is waiting for you." Eldon smiled and asked them to follow him.
After they reached the Conference room one more handsome young man and a short pretty lady with Count Draco were already seated there. "Goodmorning Princess and Tyran," said Count Draco. Tyran and Ellen both smiled and wished him back in a unison. "I guess you have met Eldon", said Count Draco. Ellen nodded. "This is my another son Dylan and my only daughter Shyla." "Pleasure to meet you Princess", said Dylan. Ellen smiled back at him. She saw a sadness in his eyes. "I need to talk to three of you. One by one. Alone", said Ellen commandingly. "And may we know why?", asked Shyla. Ellen softened her tone and said, "I want to know you all better", and gave a heartwarming smile.
Shyla was about to say something Eldon interrupted in between, "Its ok with us, we would like to know you better as well, and I would love to go first", Eldon said flirtatiously.
"Its settled let's go out then", said Tyran. "Can I at least stay here?", asked Count Draco anxiously. "I would like some privacy My'Lord", replied back Ellen.
"As you wish", said Count Draco and left the room with Dylan and Shyla escorted by Tyran.
Ellen quickly scanned the room with the corner of her eyes to check if there were any cameras but didn't find any.
"You have beautiful eyes Princess Ellen", said Eldon. "Are you trying to flirt with me?" Ellen raised one of her eyebrows and asked. "No, I was just praising your beauty. Your silver eyes and black beautiful hair can make anyone fall in love with you", said Eldon flirtatiously. Ellen blushed, this was not the first time her beauty has been praised but this time it felt different to her. Her cheeks turned red. "Are you blushing Princess?" Eldon asked as he came towards her. "No, shall we get started if you are done flirting with me?" Ellen quickly controlled her feelings and said. "Start with what Princess?" again asked Eldon. Ellen saw Eldon looking into her eyes and used the opportunity to use her compulsion power on him. After being sure he is compelled Ellen asked "Do you know who murdered your people?", "No I don't", said Eldon. "Why aren't there any cameras in your city?", again asked Ellen. Before Eldon could answer someone pushed in the door and said: "Princess and Sir Eldon, Master and the man with Princess from the Kingdom are wounded and Lady Shyla and Prince Dylan are missing." As the compulsion was already broken Eldon ran out to see. Ellen ran behind him, outside laid fainted Count Draco and lifeless Tyran. "I knew they were behind the murders", screamed Eldon in anger. Ellen was very upset but she didn't break down seeing Tyran's lifeless body. "City-Guards check the entire city, every house, everywhere and bring those traitors to me. Other
Guards take the father to his room and call for the doctor", ordered Eldon. "I want to go back to the kingdom with Tyran's body. Can you make arrangements for that?", said Ellen somehow controlling herself. "But Princess....", Eldon did not complete the sentence as he could see that at any moment Ellen could break down. He went closer to Ellen and said in her ears, "Do not be upset Princess, I would do anything to find the murderers and punish them". Ellen gazed into his eyes and her heart skipped a beat. She felt an unnatural feeling, which she had never felt before. She again started blushing. Eldon walked away from her as some other guards came to the hallway, "Prepare a car so that Princess can travel back with the body. Two of you will go with them. Drop them safely. I will send a letter addressed to Queen Marlene, give it to her and then come back". "Yes Sir", said the guards and left with Tyran's body. "Princess you go and take rest. Once everything is ready for your departure I personally will let you know", Eldon said and walked away. "Come Princess", said Zoey.
Ellen walked back with a heavy heart.

So Tyran is dead.
