Chapter 10

The rest of the day Ellen did not feel like doing anything. Neither did she attend any of the Royal meetings. She sat in the rain. Liana came and informed her about The King asking for her presence twice but Ellen never responded. Liana was never used to see Ellen like that. She had always seen Ellen either happy or cranky.

Liana even brought Ellen's favorite blood H+ but Ellen didn't even look at it. She just sat and stared at the sky. Liana being worried about Ellen told Queen Marlene's handmaid Sierra about it who suggested her to tell Celine about it. She also suggested Liana inform King Hayden that Ellen wasn't feeling too good due to which she could not attend the meetings.

Liana did as Sierra suggested her to do. After informing King Hayden about Ellen she started searching for Celine. Unable to find her in the castle and in training building she tried to contact her mentally to which Celine finally answered. As soon as Liana informed her about Ellen's condition Celine blocked her out from her mind.

Within a few minutes, Celine reached the castle. She doubted that Ellen's reaction would be somehow connected to Eldon so she went to Eldon's room first. She banged the door and entered without knocking, Eldon was sitting upset beside his window. "What happened between you and Ellen?",asked Celine in a demanding manner. Eldon was surprised to see her because he didn't know who she was. "Who are you and why are you asking about Princess like that?",Eldon asked back standing up now. "You don't have to know who am I, but I know about you and Ellen. What did you do to her? Why is she upset?", Celine snapped back at Eldon. "Upset? She was angry with me.", Eldon replied meekly as he understood the lady standing in front of him was Ellen's well-wisher. "What happened due to which she got angry with you?", again Celine asked. "She thought I was trying to drink her blood. But trust me I wasn't, it was just a mistake I made.",Eldon said in pleading tone. Celine looked at him for a while and observed him then said, "I will have a word with Ellen", and left the guest room closing the door behind her. Eldon sighed and walked to his bed and lied down.

"Celine stop", a known voice stopped Celine as she was walking towards Ellen's room. "What do think you are doing?", said, Queen Marlene. Celine turned back, bowed to her and responded, "I was just going to Princess Ellen's bedroom". "Celine, Eldon is not the right man for Ellen", said Queen Marlene in a soft tone. Celine looked down and said, "I beg your pardon Queen but Princess Ellen and Lord Eldon are just friends". "With benefits?" , questioned back Queen Marlene. Celine looked up with confusion in her eyes but did not utter a word as she knew what was really going on. Queen Marlene continued to say that she knew whatever was going on between Ellen and Eldon and that was not good for the Kingdom. Celine did not speak a word. "Celine, you are Princess Ellen's best friend, stop her before she makes a big mistake which might not be good for her or for The Kingdom. I hope you understand.",said, Queen Marlene. Celine looked up and nodded as yes. Queen Marlene smiled at her turned back to go to her own room. "Bitch", Celine told herself in her mind. "I heard that.",said Queen Marlene turning back and smiling at her, Celine again looked down and Queen Marlene walked back on her way. Celine rushed to Ellen's room.
