Chapter 9

After Eldon left That night, Ellen kept thinking about Eldon, she kept thinking that how could she do it as she is the Princess and he is just a Lord, but when she thought about that passionate kiss, she craved for another one and dozed off to meet him in her dreams.

The Day before Ball

One more day left for the ball. She never took any date with her for the ball dance. This was the first time she had accepted a proposal to go to ball dance with someone.
She woke up feeling butterflies in her stomach. She asked Liana to get her breakfast ready and went for a shower. Ellen also had to meet Celine today.
Celine came to her room when she was done with the breakfast. "So, the big news is Princess Ellen is going on a date with Lord Eldon," said Celine, teasing her. Ellen blushed and replied, "I think for the first time gorgeous Celine is not having any date for the ball dance. It's because of the reason that new trainees are not allowed in the ball, isn't it?" Celine blushed even more and replied, "It's nothing like that, just didn't get right proposal this time." Covering her lie, she further asked, "So Ellen, you need any tips being a virgin for the ball dance?" Ellen chuckled and asked Celine to shut up. "Let's begin with choosing your dress for the auspicious occasion tomorrow" Celine teased her more. While looking through her wardrobe, Ellen saw the dress she received the next day after coming back from Ekusa. "I think it must me Eldon who sent this beautiful dress," Ellen thought to herself. She decided to wear the same dress to the dance the next day.

Suddenly Ellen noticed the sadness in Celine's eyes, and she knew the reason. Ellen thought of asking King Hayden to allow Jake to come to the ball dance with Celine but immediately dropped the idea for she knew Celine very well, she knew that Celine wouldn't like her doing that and eventually announcing her love for Jake.

"Are you sure you want to wear this dress? You don't even know who sent it", said Celine with an eyebrow lifted. "I know it is Eldon, who else would have done it", said Ellen with a smile. Though it was hard for Ellen to imagine how could she feel like this for someone but still, she couldn't help herself. She was brought up to be the Queen someday and neither has she felt smitten towards any man till date. Ellen felt somehow conflicted between her feelings. Ellen has not yet faced Eldon ever since the last incident. She wanted to but she couldn't. "Ellen, I found a perfect book for you", Celine intervened Ellen's thoughts and said with a devilish smile on her face. "Book? What book?", confused Ellen asked. "A virgin lady's first date", Celine said and started laughing which made Ellen blush instantly. "Here you read it, I need to leave. I have some errands to run", said Celine handing Ellen a book. "Oh please celi I...", before Ellen could complete her sentence Celine left.

Ellen looked at the book and sat down to read it.

Princess Ellen's behavior had changed all of a sudden. Everyone in the Castle has noticed that. Even during the royal meetings she has started taking a good interest and doesn't even gets bored.

Ellen's change was noticed by all which included Queen Marlene as well. She had noticed that Ellen doesn't answer her back anymore. This change in Ellen bothered her the most. She even tried to speak to King Hayden about this but he answered that it was a good thing that Princess was changing and Marlene should not worry about it. This change in Ellen was good for her and the Kingdom.
But Marlene decided not to give up and called for her most loyal servant who was also her informer. "You called for me Queen", said the informer. "Yes. Keep an eye on Ellen and let me know what is going on with her", commanded Queen Marlene. The informer said no more word, nodded and left.

After reading the book given by Celine for a while, Ellen kept it and was emerged in her thoughts, suddenly someone said,
"Hello Ellen, I guess you are thinking about me?", said Eldon standing with a leg crossed at Ellen's balcony. "How the hell did you come in here?" Ellen said in a startled but hushed tone. "I missed you and I could not come to your room so I climbed up here", Eldon said in a witty tone. Ellen locked the door of her bedroom so that no one could come in.

"Afraid Princess? that people would see us together?", Eldon winked at Ellen and asked. "No, I just wanted to complete what we left incomplete that evening", this time Ellen flirted back. "Ahaa, I see. Someone is already turned on today", Eldon said while he walked inside Ellen's room. Ellen walked close to him and they both kissed.

Ellen wanted Eldon completely. She pushed him at her bed removed his shirt and kissed his chest whereas Eldon while playing with her hair pulled her up and this time he was upon her. He kissed her shoulder, looked up in her eyes and said, "What are you doing to me, Ellen". Ellen bit her lower lip. Eldon put his face at her collar bone and bit her.

"What the hell are you trying to do Eldon?", screamed Ellen as she pushed back Eldon away from her. "I am so sorry I got carried away", apologized Eldon.
Ellen started adjusting her dress and said: "Get out of my room". Eldon looked apologetically at her and said, "Ok. If you want this I shall leave you alone. But Princess this was just a mistake." Eldon wore his shirt and went away from the balcony. The same place from where he came into Ellen's room.

Ellen ran towards the bathroom undressed and put on the shower. She was feeling disgusted. "He is also like ever another man, who wants my blood", said Ellen to herself and sat down in the bathroom. She felt worse and pathetic.

Ellen left the bathroom after some hours and as she was wearing her clothes she heard the sound of thundering. She walked out to the balcony and sat there as it was about to start raining.

Eldon sat on the window in his room with a sore heart and said to himself, "How could I do it to her".
