Chapter 13

As Ellen and Eldon started walking downstairs to the ball together, everyone's eyes were on them. King Hayden seemed happy, whereas Queen Marlene looked upset. And Celine was puzzled to see them together but she was happy as well because she knew Ellen liked Eldon. But she also kept wondering when did things become good between both of them and Ellen didn't even tell, so she decided to ask her that later.

As soon as the duo came down King Hayden went up to the center of the stage for the most awaited announcement.

"Everyone, today we are gathered here not only for the quarterly ball of the Kingdom but there are two important announcements I would like to make.",after taking a pause he continued, "Princess Ellen please come here.", Ellen walked up to her father. King Hayden put his arm around her and said "I am very happy to announce that Princess Ellen will take over the throne within 3 months from now. After her coronation, the entire kingdom will be having a holiday for one week full". Everyone applauded in happiness. King Hayden now looked at Ellen and whispered to her "This is a surprise for you" to which Ellen smiled in response and he again then looked back at the audience and continued, "And from today itself Princess Ellen will take all the decisions of the Kingdom".

Everyone cheered and applauded hard on the news as everyone knew Ellen will be a great Queen.

Now Ellen looked at King Hayden and said emotionally, "Thank you, Father. I love you" and hugged him, King Hayden hugged her back. Ellen quickly composed herself and looked at the audience and now said, "As King Hayden have handed me the rights I have two important announcements to make tonight. Firstly our trainees can attend the ball parties from today itself and secondly from now onwards no trainee will be punished in the torture room." And again the crowd cheered and applauded hard with happiness.

Ellen now looked at Celine who seemed extremely happy. Celine nodded her head as a gesture of thank you at Ellen. "So everyone any moment our vampire trainees will join us now. And you all enjoy the party". Everyone cheered Ellen again.

Everyone started enjoying the party as there was unlimited food, music, wine, blood. Everything. After the announcements were over Ellen went over to Celine who now looked extremely happy and said, " Turn back love, here comes your Jake". Celine looked around and saw Jake coming in. She hugged and thanked Ellen and walked over to him. In the meantime, Eldon came and hugged Ellen from behind and said, "I am so proud of you my princess". Ellen looked back and gave a small peck on his cheek.

"So can I have a dance with you?", Eldon asked with love filled in his eyes. Ellen smiled and nodded and walked with Eldon towards the dance floor.

Marlene saw them but there was sadness in her eyes as if she could sense anything.

Celine took Jake to the dance floor and they started dancing as well.

Love was in the air.

After a loooooong time of dancing, Ellen excused herself from the dance floor and went towards the table to get herself a drink as she was tired Eldon accompanied her as well as he was tired too.

Once they reached there and fed themselves, Ellen looked at Eldon and said, "I want to take you somewhere", to which Eldon replied, "I will go anywhere you take me, Ellen".

"Fine, then come", Ellen held Eldon's hand and started walking out of the castle.

Again a short chapter. Isn't it?
