Chapter 7

It has been days since Ellen has started behaving differently. She has been too much cheerful. Obviously, everyone in the Castle was astonished by her behavior. Previously she mostly kept things to herself, she used to speak very less but now she speaks to everyone. She had started taking an interest in council meetings and in other Royal activities as well. She has even started to accompany King Hayden for his sessions in court. Though King Hayden was very happy to see the change in Ellen and considered it to be a good sign Queen Marlene had a doubt that Ellen was up to something and maybe it was the calmness before a storm, but she did not disclose it to anyone.

Ever since, Ellen requested her father about Celine to be Jake's trainer Celine had started training him, which meant Ellen and Celine could hardly catch up with each other. But for Celine, it helped her in coping up with her twin brother's death and no doubt Jake and Celine were getting close to each other as well. Along with that surprisingly Jake was doing very well at his training. He had learned to control his thirst for blood and he was very good in vampire runs. Celine had already informed him that once his training is over he has to go through one exam that was in a full crowd of humans he has to control his lust for blood. 

Meanwhile in Ekusa

"Any updates on Dylan and Shyla?" asked Eldon. "No sir, but we are working hard on it", replied the army commander. "Try harder and once you get your hands on those traitors bring them to me alive", commanded Eldon. The army commander nodded and walked away. "Don't worry son we will find them sooner or later", said Lord Draco as he entered the meeting room. Eldon rolled his eyes. "So are you going to Skypen to attend King Hayden's ball?" asked Draco. "Yes, I will, but just to pay a visit to Princess Ellen" replied Eldon with a smile. "I heard she is about to be the Queen very soon", said Draco with a crooked smile on his face. Eldon did not reply him he just smiled and walked out of the meeting room.

Back in the Kingdom Skypen

Though Ellen's behavior has changed no one had questioned anything about that to her yet and that made her feel relaxed. That day while reading in the library she found something which she had never seen before and after seeing and reading the information on it Ellen was confused and she had determined to find the truth about it. But she just can't trust anyone in the Kingdom, not even her best friend. Ellen, this time was sitting on her bedroom's window pane rather than spending her time in balcony drinking blood wine. 

Suddenly she heard a tune playing, it took her no time to understand where it was coming from. She was mesmerized by the tune and ran towards her balcony to take a peek at the garden to see who was playing the tune. All she saw was a man sitting on the garden chair playing the violin, she could only see a side of his face but it was partially guarded, so she could only see his black hair. "Time for bed Princess", said Liana as she entered Ellen's bedroom. "Huh... Yes... Um-mm well Goodnight", said Ellen and closed her balcony door and walked towards her bed and laid on her back. "Goodnight Princess, sleep well", said Liana and walked away. "I need to find out this mysterious violin player", thought Ellen and soon she drifted off in deep slumber.
