I was skeptical, to say the least. Shayton and Nazar were both acting suspiciously; they could be members of the Mafia. I had to do something. I figured the best course of action would be to talk to them and try to get them to slip up, but I still didn't have a role. It would have to wait until tomorrow, most likely.

That was when I felt a weight drop into my pocket. I slid out my rolecard to find the word Sheriff written on it in large, green letters. I'm a Sheriff... perfect! I decided to interrogate Shayton first, since, to my knowledge, she had initiated nearly all of their conversations. I headed for the front door and knocked, ready to begin my interrogation.

"Yes?" Shayton asked, opening her door and rubbing the sleep from her eyes. I made a mental note of that; if she was en evildoer, she probably would've been wide awake already.

"Hello, Shayton." I tried to act formal, as a normal Sheriff would. "I'd like to ask you some questions."

"Ah, yes." Shayton gave me a smile. "Please, come in. I've nothing to hide." She opened the door wider.

"Thank you." I stepped inside, glancing back as she closed the door behind me and bolted it. There was a part of me that was worried that this was some kind of trap, but I pushed that aside.

"What do ya need, Sheriff?" The orange-haired girl asked, watching me expectantly.

"I'd like to ask why you've become so friendly with Nazar." I decided to cut straight to the case. "You've certainly raised plenty of suspicion. I'd like to hear the real story for myself."

"I already said the real story." Shayton replied. "I don't know why, but I feel like he's linked to my role. I decided to talk to him and see if that did anything, similar to how you're talking to me and seeing if that will do anything. You can look around the house for evidence, if you need to. Bring in one of the Investigators. I assure you, neither of you will find anything suspicious." My gut told me she wasn't lying. If she was, then she wouldn't have challenged me to call in an Investigator, as well.

"I see." I offered her a smile. "I wish you luck in discovering your role." I turned to the door, which Shayton unlocked and held open for me. I gave her a nod of acknowledgement before heading out, hearing the door close and lock behind me. I returned to my house and wrote down my findings. N3: Shayton - Not Suspicious.
